Summary
San Juan has a number of dive sites. Playa Shon Mosa is a small beach. It is the second dive site on this estate from the East. There are no facilities here, so if you want to stay here longer you will need to bring your own gear, diving here is easy. There is a narrow sandy beach from which you can easily walk into the water. Then it is a not too long swim to the blue rim. The slope of the reef is very gradual. If you have swum out to the blue edge you can already see the next dive site, Playa Manzali & ntilde; a. If you turn left you will be swimming down a very gradual slope. In places it is almost horizontal. The coral density is moderate and there are large sandy patches between the coral. There is an abundance of Yellow Boring Sponges. And a great variety of corals and sponges. Be careful to take a recognizable point for the navigation back to the beach. Due to the very gradual slope, it is easy to miss your landmark. If you swim too far you have a chance to end up at the next bay and your car is not there.
