Hay muchas cosas que hacer en Curaçao, pero una excursión de medio día en quad o buggy por el lado oeste de la isla será una auténtica sorpresa para tus amigos o familiares.
Nuestra primera parada tras salir de la tienda y dirigirnos hacia el aeropuerto nos llevará a ver una fuente de agua de manantial natural. A continuación nos dirigiremos a San Pedro Vlakte, nombre que recibe porque este terreno es completamente llano, donde nos dirigiremos a la Cueva di Bos di San Antonio. En esta cueva podrás pedir un deseo, ya que recibe el nombre de Cueva de los Deseos de San Antonio. La Cueva de Fudu es la siguiente parada y también la mayor de las muchas cuevas de la isla. Desde aquí nos dirigiremos hacia el norte, a lo largo de la línea costera y las turbinas eólicas, hacia la Bahía de Madera. Nos detendremos unos diez minutos para que puedas pasear, disfrutar del paisaje y hacer fotografías de la bahía. Landhuis Ascencion será nuestra siguiente parada, donde podrás ver las tortugas pequeñas y grandes que se sabe que hay en esta zona, así como ver un gran agujero soplador. A continuación, cruzaremos la isla hacia el lado sur hasta Daaibooi Baai, donde podrás tomarte un descanso de una hora y bañarte en la playa o comer y beber algo por tu cuenta. Tras el descanso nos dirigiremos a Bullenbaai para ver los depósitos de petróleo y después a Blue Bay. Por último, conduciremos por Otrobanda y tomaremos el puente Juliana (el puente grande) hasta Nieuwehaven y volveremos a la tienda.

Hands down, the best excursion I've ever taken while on vacation. The tour guides and excellent, informative, and most importantly just really nice guys. The destinations on the East tour were beautiful places! If we ever return to Curacoa, booking another tour will be one of the first things we do.

Bumpy rides so take anti nausea meds. And make sure to tip those guides well...they keep you safe on the roads.

Doing the longer route next time! What a great time! 7 of us (mostly girls) went for the 3 hour east tour on 2x double ATVs and 1x 6 person buggy , and that was a great 1st exposure. Booked online with super quick responses even late at night and on a holiday. Check in at their shop was quick and easy up in their thatched muster space. After a quick instruction and check out on whether you could handle the ATV/buggy alright, we took off on the municipal road. Most were first time ATV riders. Brakes on the buggy could have been better, but good enough for us. About 40% of the driving for this tour was on the road with other cars, and the remainder was off road. Went to see the aloe plantation (I would have skipped that), "indian" cave and lookout, lots of cacti, rough ocean side and sea cove, windmills and finally the sheltered swimming lagoon/beach. Our guide Lorenzo, who looks like Johnny Depp, made it the best. Friendly and easy going, trying to make sure we had a good time, and helped our daughters when they got stuck in the mud. I would definitely go with these guys again, but choose a different tour for something different. Prices were on par with the others, but these guys had both covered buggies and ATVs, and the others did not.

TIP: Bring/buy a bandana to cover your nose and mouth for the dusty off road parts. Wear shorts/swim suit. Bring sunscreen! If you want to stay out of the sun, choose a covered buggy.
