Expected a lot more on the quality of the food. Ate here three times during our stay and it was pretty average. There’s options same price better quality around the hotel or ordering food for better quality less price. Great view and music.

Worst food we had in Curacao. We were feeling tired and tried the restaurant since the Blues was pretty decent in a previous evening. This was not the case here. Chicken skewer was burnt on the outside and some parts not cooked. Salmon skewer was very dry. Drinks were quite watered down ( hard accomplishment since awa de lamunchi is just lime, sugar and water)

I am impressed by the staff, how friendly and responsive are. The location is excellent, and just in case, on the same street, are some restaurants with great food. Even the snorkeling is great here.

Was last weekend in Curacao, I had to visit The Pen Restaurant & Terrace at Avila Beach. it's BBQ night "all you can eat". so I surely had a blast.And the wonderful staff made my evening memorable. The live singing/music was suburb. thanks again Wensley and crew!! Thank you head chef(Freddy)!!Gracias Julian, it was great again,till next time!! Bon Pasku!!

It’s a lovely place to just and relax, the service was terrible.I feel like I was served by someone with a similar personality to my cat, there was a general lack of interest in my desire to eat and drink and they seemed to want to hang out with their other cat friendsI think it’s likely a training issue as when I spoke to the waitress and asked why she didn’t check in on me for the past hour she said you have to ask as people come and hang out here and we don’t want to bother them.(I wasn’t too bothered as I was actually hanging out)I think if you go here expecting to have to flag the wait staff down for everything it’ll be a better experience. Or announce on the way in that you have intentions of eat and drinking.The scramble eggs and salmon was also decidedly on the average side.

We stayed in Avila, and we had our breakfast and lunch here, also dinner for some days. Service was very friendly and nice. The foods were also fresh and delicious. Especially on Saturdays enjoy open buffet BBQ. Highly recommended

While the resort is beautiful and the food is adequate, we had a few issues. Upon checkin we were surprised to learn there was construction in the Octagon building in which our room was assigned, but as a courtesy Breakfast would be comped. After we grabbed a croissant and coffee the hostess asked our number and gave us a bill for $50. When we informed them of our comp due to the construction they called the front desk which told them no, that ended yesterday. We had lunch twice, and the Caesar salad, quesadilla, and avocado toast are all adequate. Unfortunately, wether at the bar or at a table if you need another drink or to pay the bill you need to wave the staff down as they don’t come to check on you after you have ordered, even when its slow.

The food here was pretty good. We tried many of their offerings over the week. Service is good as well. The view is superb all day long. But it is amazing during sun set is outstanding.
