This is not a service friendly hotel. Customer service is not a priority at this property. It’s a do it yourself property. I came for my birthday and switched rooms 3 times. The air condition was malfunctioning, the hot water heater had issues, we had a leak in our bathroom. Water was coming from the ceiling. Once maintenance said he couldn’t fix it they did nothing. We had to go back to the front desk at 1:30 am to ask if they were going to fix the leak or move us. After they moved us the next room smelled like sewage. It was a horrendous smell so we requested another room in the morning. Housekeeping, they will make your bed but that’s it. They don’t replenish towels or take away any dishes in your room, or clean anything. Trying to get reservations for dinner is an Olympic race. The buffet area is a complete mess. Since there is no service provided they don’t clean the table as guests get up. Every empty table sits piled up for a while. You are getting attacked by pigeons left and right because they allow the dishes to pile up. The attendants have attitudes when you ask them to clean the table. You are better off cleaning them yourself. The pool gets pretty milky which is boarder-line disgusting. Dirty glasses lined up spilling in the pool. I don’t think they clean it nightly as it was only clean the 1st day we arrived. The staff you can tell aren’t used to being appreciated and being tipped so they don’t do anything extra to help provide a good experience. Basically we don’t need your tips…do it yourself is the attitude across the resort. I stay at Hilton properties monthly in different places and this is one property I won’t revisit. However there are a few folks at the property that really make the experience slightly better. When you arrive Naiijma is a welcoming face to great you with a cold beverage and Tamara has been AMAZING with accommodating us during our stay. With the right leadership this could be a great property but right now it’s very subpar.

I’m currently here celebrating my bday with 9 other family members and I do have to say the hotel is very well kept, but at least one elevator seems to be out of order. The staff is really nice and some try to go far and beyond to help. One negative is that the hotel is not very well managed. Check in is at 4 and we didn’t get our room till almost 6, one of our family members room was given to someone who claimed they were my family member. I paid 200 for 2 rooms to be decorated for birthdays and only one room was decorated, they came back to decorate the room and only put balloons in the room, the cake , wine and everything I paid for was not left in the room. We made reservations for the BBQ restaurant for 10 people, the next day we got to the restaurant they did not have us on the list, the young lady asked us if we had proof that we made reservations, mind you they do not send any confirmations once you make a reservation. Overall we still enjoyed ourselves but I think if the hotel was managed better we would have had an awesome birthday vacation

The check in process was very quick and easy.My room was clean, cool, and spacious.The food was great, although you can’t make a same day reservation at their restaurants.Johely and Deavion are great bartenders near the main pool! They were very attentive, friendly, and made our drinks to taste. They made our time at the pool fun! We had a group of 8, so when we came to the bar, it was a lot, but they took care of us always with a smile on their face.

If there was a way to leave negative number for the bartenders, front desk staff and check in staff, then this hotel would most certainly not be rated 4-5 stars. It would be one thing if the multiple experiences of being ignored, eye rolling and plain indifference were exclusive to me and my party but to hear other guests, from children to the elderly, recount similar experience, was disappointing to say the least. Much of the staff are very young and are mainly interested in helping those who are being belligerent and loud get even more drunk. Many of the bartenders and front desk staff are also far more interested in being rude than being helpful. They often ignore any requests, quickly hide or avoid any and all eye contact just so they won’t have to acknowledge guests pretty much sums up the day time activities. Then at night you can look forward to large rats running around the property. Again witnessed by multiple guests. I’m not sure why this place has such a high star rating when many of the guests had similar complaints. As I travel often and have never left a negative review for any hotel it is with a heavy heart that this 4 star hotel will be the first. My only comfort is knowing, I will never return here. If anyone is looking for a good time, with friendly and welcoming staff without rodents, then this is Not the place to stay.

Food is amazing and I would even eat every night at the buffet if it was the only option.The variety is extensive and there is food for everyone.The deserts here are the best and better than many other resorts I have been to.The staff here have been amazing and super friendly.The drinks are delicious and the rooms are amazing.The balcony is gorgeous and my ocean view room was stunning.
Everything at the hotel is very lovely.The rooms to the cabana are wonderful.The pool is amazing and the hospitality of the workers is great.The bartenders have a nice vibe to them and make some really good drinks.Ray has also been lovely, helped us with some tips on the hotel and fun atmosphere.

The property is very clean and the buffet has a wide selection of foods and same thing for the restaurants.The is wonderful and clean also.Sometimes if you are lucky you can see cruise ships that dock near by.The staff is super friendly and very helpful.My only complaints is that there is currently construction in progress and I didn’t get the room upgrade.

The beach is very clean, the water is nice and super close to the hotel and there are also a good chance to see turtles in the water.The swimming platform is cute.There is food almost all day.The rooms bed is wonderful but could be a bit cleaner.The food is lovely from the buffet and there is a great selection and variety is wonderful in both buffet and restaurants.

My girlfriend and I wanted an all inclusive trip that would t break the bank and found it!The resort is overall clean, rooms are clean and staff is curtious and helpful!I read some reviews where the beach is rocky so you need water shoes, although it is wise to have them, they are not necessarily needed. We had no problems making reservations for dinner, especially using the app that you can download upon arrival and if you’re unsuccessful getting a restaurant of your choice, the buffet has been wonderful for lunch breakfast and dinner. Many choices even for a picky eater!! I will recommend if you can pack a blow up raft do so. There is not a big night life at the resort but they do have entertainment on the “main stage” but you can take a taxi or walk to the town. We had no issues walking day or night probably one of the safer islands I have visited.I do recommend doing a visit to the distillery and mambo Beach if you’re able to get there. Also, if you’re planning on excursions book them days in advance as we found when we decided to do something the next day excursions were sold out on the island.

Restaurants are wonderful with an excellent variety and wide selection.The pool bar can be slow but other then that the drinks are delicious.The beach is the best and fantastic.The rooms are great and worth it and very clean, even though you have to make requests for certain things it's amazing.The workers are very nice and super kind.Chunelies has been awesome and super fun.Ray has been very kind and would like to carry him home and such a loving person.Ray has good communication skills and brought a wonderful atmosphere.
We stayed at the mangrove resort for a week long vacation in Curacao. The resort is on a nice beach with chairs and umbrellas to enjoy. The rooms were clean and spacious. Room service can every day to straighten up our room and replenish our water and in-room snacks. The drinks at the bar are great as well. They have a frozen drinks bar, a pool bar with mixed drinks and beer and a beach bar. We also had a lot of fun at the waterpark on the resort. Location was good and within walking distance from downtown. We were able to get taxis to other parts of the island to golf and take a jet ski tour. There was a variety of food available as well and four restaurants for dinner, on top of the buffet.

The restaurants are lovely and the beach is wonderfully tranquil.If you are even looking for a quick getaway Curaçao is the place to be to rejuvenate.Ray personifies customer service and always greets with a big smile.He even makes us feel like we are at home away from home.Without the stress.He also anticipates our needs and we want to bring him to the states but he is very loyal to where he is and it shows a lot about his character and is a Ray of sunshine.

We had a fantastic time.The food had lots of choice and was tasty.The bartenders were knowledgeable in their craft. The beach was lovely with a variety of fish and a bunch of turtles. Remember don’t get too close to the turtles. Lastly we spent some time with a manager named Ray who was friendly, kind and informative.
The king cobra slide is very enjoyable. The beach and pool are both relaxing and amazing. Overall, I enjoyed this vacation. Highly recommend.Food and drink were pretty much the same everyday. Sometimes, there is no ice for drinks. Had to wait for clean tables.Not very far from the town, Willemstad.Very safe facilities.There is beautiful sea aquarium.Nice scenery.The rooms were certainly clean, spacious and comfortable. However,the air conditioning could've been colder.m as it was only able to turn up to 22 degrees celsius.
So completely this resort is hit and miss. Here is a breakdown of what we felt the pros and cons were:Pros:* The room we booked was clean and had two balconies with beautiful ocean and pool views.* Check in was a breeze and Debby was so sweet* The two side pools are almost always empty and quiet* The location is stellar, easy 10min walk to all you could want to do in Willemstad* Lobby bar has good, premium liquor* Beach is sheltered and easy to swim, however bring your water shoes as the beach is rocky and that can be hard on your feet!Cons:* It is loud all the time, kids and tons of people during the day and at night the entertainment is overly loud and goes til around Midnight, it will keep you up if you are not a person that can get to sleep in the middle of a lot and bass 🤣* They run out of everything: plates, glasses, tables, reservations, food, beer, mixers, everything - it was not a once in a while it is everyday something is missing or out* There is not enough staff, those that are here work hard but as an example the pool bar served in the pool and out of the pool and was huge with a ton of people there and they never had more than 2 bartenders so getting a drink can take a long time. It also means things are not tidy there is a lot of used items and trash around as they can't keep up* Hard to get a reservation for dinner as none of the restaurants sat more than 1/2 of the tables due to staffingOverall for the price we paid it was fine, middle ups and downs.

We liked the local food on the island, the cocktails at the restaurant are too sweet but the staff is nice and accommodating. We also noticed there is no vigilance to keep the resort clean in all areas and while staff is nice there is a lack of urgency or they are simply understaffed. Realistically I would not be back as it’s been described as the cheapest resort on the island but I enjoyed what I could.

We had a spectacular stay at the mangrove resort - highly recommend. The beach was lovely, a perfect place for pictures and was great fun snorkeling. The view was lovely from our room and contained a mini bar which was very refreshing (room 1402). RJ was a very helpful member of staff and was very kind and friendly.On Monday 12 August we had a mishap with one of your waiters while waiting to be attended at the barbecue restaurant. Jennifer was very kind and sorted us and the situation out.

For starters this is a very family friendly vacation stay and great for kids for the pool area and water park, not so much for couples. However, the worst experience I have ever had. The general staff was very rude and every time you ask for something it’s like pulling teeth . I will give credit to the receptionist who did help if you are a gold/diamond member of Hilton.The room: I stayed in a suite that was nice in looks but not very clean as I expected it to be. There were stains on the couches and an odd smell from the bathroom that never went away no matter how much housekeeping cleaned it. It seemed to be coming from the water so the pipes could have issues and that’s what caused the smell.Food: God forbid if they used seasoning. I’m not sure if they did they purposely for the kids but we did have to buy seasonings ourselves and add to the food because it was just unbearable. There is an Italian restaurant that was decent but there was always a line out the door so I would suggest getting there earlier to be seated. Within the same restaurant it can get busy but make sure you catch their attention so they don’t forget you. We had the worst server named Jerradennis who forgot about us after ordering drinks and didn’t come back with our drinks up until an hour later and I had to remind her. I saw my food sitting under the heating for over half an hour when it was brought to me it was cold. Being that it was cold they had to remake a simple pizza but was never brought to us up until after the restaurant closed and I had to ask another server to please be our server instead.General amenities: There isn’t a map that helps you get around other than a stand you have to take a picture of and go from there. The app they tell you use works one hour and is down for the remainder of the day. There’s no room service, even though the app has an option for it. You do have to request housekeeping everyday through the app when it does work and they did a great job with that and restocking of anything needed. The gift shop is overly priced I do suggested going into town for souvenirs and majority of places are CLOSED on Sunday even the pharmacy so don’t get sick on a Sunday.Excursions: most of the excursion are water based like snorkeling or swimming with the fishes but the best thing to do is renting a car to go into town and explore the town, culture and the food that is so much better in town than the resort. Plaza Bieu has many options but Mamas Kitchen was the best and not too far from the resort.Overall, I would never return to Curacao nor the resort or recommend anyone from going there. I was disappointed in staff, food, room and common courtesy throughout my stay. There’s much changes to be done to the resort and the reviews are very misleading. If you are doing research as I do prior to booking I hope this one helps and you consider another location.

I had a fantastic stay at Corendon Hotel! The rooms were spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure all our needs were met. The hotel's amenities, including the pool and spa, were top-notch and added a luxurious touch to our visit. This is absolutely not a 5 star hotel. A room for 4 people had 1 tiny " closet " with shelves and hanging space that could not possibly hang anything due to a shelf on that side. Premium alcohol, which really was not all that premium, was only found at one bar, the bar furthest from the pool/beach. Cruise ships park directly in front of the beach 2 days/week. Cruise ship passengers use the beach for this resort and eat in the dining room with resort guests, creating extremely long lines as the buffet is really the only choice, unless you like fried food at the pool snack bar.Washcloths were not to be seen after the first day. Hand towels were the substitute, despite that, EVERY DAY, additional hand towels had to requested to accommodate the 4 people in the room. Most of the staff were fabulous, housekeeping was the downfall. The location was great for going into town, the more beautiful beaches are absolutely on the other side of the island.A nice place, definitely not 5 star.

The room and the balcony itself is spacious. The staff is very nice and helpful. However my friend and I got conjoining rooms and her room had bugs all over the counter. Took almost 6 hours just to get her a new room. I requested the sheets to be replaced which house keeping never came. Ordered room service that was never delivered and then asked how was the service which again never came. The food was okay just lacked flavor. The decor is nice in the room but things were falling apart in and out of the hotel. I don’t believe this building is up to code or they are still doing a lot of renovations. I would not pick this hotel or want anyone to stay here. I will say this hotel is a great family friendly hotel. They have a lot of things for kids. I would definitely recommend the Marriott which in my opinion is much better.
