B&B Villa Zomerland

Summer '24 we were in Curaçao and stayed at Villa Zomerland! It really is the most fantastic place to stay. In any case, unanimously the best we had this summer for our family.We stayed in the Troepiaal and the children in the Plantage room. It is very nice to have your own kitchen and to eat your food on the beautiful terrace by the pool. Sometimes you eat with your family, but sometimes other guests join you. It makes it possible to exchange tips and experiences in a fun, relaxed way.Karin and René are wonderful hosts, who always give good tips, are not pushy, but very sociable and pleasant. Really perfect.And well, we also enjoyed the dogs Binkie, Soto and Amy, the cats Biertje and Borreltje (what names!) and the turtles Guus and Truus. To complete the zoo, we often heard a trooper, saw hummingbirds and countless lizards and iguanas in the beautifully maintained garden.In short, it is 'the place to be' on Curaçao.

We spent 14 days in the hummingbird studio. Other rooms were also great. Rene and Karin are a super friendly, hospitable couple. What is also easy is that you can rent a car from them right away. The boat trip with their own boat is also possible. recommended. The apartments are very centrally located on Curacao. If you want, Rene will also pick you up from the airport. How easy can your holiday start.

Karin and Rene are really great hosts. You feel very welcome here. They are there to help and advise you.The house, the gardens and the pool are very well maintained. You don't actually have to travel around much to relax.Also worth mentioning are the very friendly, non-intrusive pets. If you want to have contact they come, otherwise they are reserved.It's just a shame that breakfast is no longer offered. Just a day after arrival. Karin's banana cake is so delicious.

For those who are not looking for mass tourism, who are not interested in seeing and being seen, but who still want to have some people around them, this is a very pleasant B&B in a green oasis with a nice swimming pool and plenty of lounge space in a practical and central location where you really feel at home. Host René knows how to strike the perfect balance between attentive helpfulness and invisibility. We highly recommended his boat trip. Fast WiFi with super range.

Sooooooooo much enjoyed it, stayed in the Kolibrie studio for 12 days and it was a party from start to finish!! It was so nice to "come home" after a day of wandering around the island because it is a wonderful, beautiful, atmospheric, beautiful, cozy, quiet and nice place!! René and Karin are great people, always have time for a chat or a tip or information, you can borrow and use anything from them and they have it all done well in a relaxed way. And then also a bunch of sweet four-legged friends who happily frolic around, wonderful! You can also go there for a rental car and a boat trip, in short "welcome to Paradise"!

Villa Zomerland is perfect for a stay on Curaçao. The rooms are beautiful, the garden is beautiful and Karin and René are super friendly and hospitable. The location is also very central, so you can get anywhere quickly by car. We had a wonderful time!

Had a great stay with Karin and René! We had the Troepiaal apartment! View of a beautiful exotic garden with swimming pool and private seating area! Room neat and clean! Nothing is too much! Made a beautiful boat trip with René's own boat! Had a nice BBQ with the other guests, rental car was great! Washing machine, dryer and freezer available! No adapter required. Kitchen very complete! Even a sandwich maker available! They also had coolers that you could take with you to the beach! And Zentrum supermarket very close! In short, fantastic recommendation! Thank you Karin and René for 2 wonderful weeks!!
