Don Genaro Curacao Apartments

Location is poor in the middle of nowhere. The place is filthy lizards and bugs crawling from uncovered electrical outlets. The air conditioning filter is completely full of dust and the host was extremely unhelpful and scammed us after leaving five days early & refused to process any refunds for the nights not stayed via vrbo. Insulting us saying we weren’t meant for a “self catering complex” and saying we should stay at a 5 star hotel instead. Nothing about the location was catering, but the ants and lizards.Sheet linen is dried outside causing poor odor, charged 1200$ usd with no tv. When asked why no tv host claimed “Spanish channels” lying! smart tvs are in all languagesBare minimum living for a very costly price.Had two active wasp nests, one hour to enter Willemstad back & forth. There is rust inside, poor shower & plumbing. No curtains for privacy, yellow toilet seat. Front gate is hanging on by a string there is no lighting per entry of room and it’s extremely pitch black. No soap for washing hands after restroom use. Just a poor experience for the amount of money we spent on this place and the fact that they refuse to give us a refund when there was a lizard in our room and we’re dissatisfied shows how hungry for money they are. Very cheap hosts that need to deep clean and take more time on the care of their customers rather than try to grip on dollars.

Very nice apartments with beautiful views over the garden. 2 swimming pools. Spacious rooms, with lots of privacy. The managers are very hospitable and will help you with information. Very nice to rent a car from them. Highly recommended if you like peace and quiet. Beaches by car all nearby. Top location.

Great facility, excellent on-site support. Best insider tips about the surrounding area and island. The rooms were well equipped and very clean. Two pools to relax and a grill for each apartment, what more could you want. We felt completely comfortable and would recommend it to everyone. Thank you for everything to the entire team!

When you go through the fence, you're entering paradise. A nice garden with lots of plants, palmtrees and lots of birds. My appartment was fantastic, with a kitchen outside 🥰 The owners are very nice and make you feel really welcome. You do need a car, as the closest supermarkt is at least a ten minutes drive away. I had a great stay and I will be back!!

Cute little place with several appartements and two pools. The owners are very kind. They take care of airport shuttling, rent cars, book tours, help with restaurant or beach advice. The appartements arr fully equipped with kitchen, alarm and mosquito nets. Wifi works. On the ground you meet turtles, birds including hummingbirds and little geckos. Fair price for super welcoming family atmosphere.
