Ive been coming here since I was five years old, when it was mangroves, cliffs, and only two old buildings. I always come at least weekly with my parents and their grandkids, about forty years of generations visiting this beach. So that tells you how much we like coming here. However, today is the first day I simply had to leave within minutes of arriving, because one of the bars around (couldnt tell if it was mojitos or papagayo) started playing loud club music, audible all the way in the parking lot! At 5 in the afternoon on a thursday IN FULL DAYLIGHT! The beach was full of kids and I was with my elderly mother, who got a headache from the thumping music. We usually stay so she can calmly see the beautiful sunset, but with the loud music we could barely talk to each other, so we left.I love dancing to club music in a club. However, by a tranquil sea with serene views during the day is the last place that should be played. The water emptied of people within minutes, while it was completely full before! I dont know who the genius was that thought that loud club music in the day on a family beach would be a good idea, but it would get a negative star review if I could give one. If this happens again I will definitely be complaining directly to the location management.Theres a time and place for everything, even loud club music. And Jan Thiel beach in tje day is NOT it. One star for today.
