We are new to Curaçao but this was our best dining experience the last 6 months. Great food and service…ambiance was phenomenal.
I've had Chef Marco's food before at his annual Halloween event at Hato Cave. He's an incredibly skilled and excellent chef. Every dish he prepares is perfectly crafted and delicious. I heard he recently opened this place, so of course, I had to stop in and dine before taking off.This place is awe-inspiring. The amazing atmosphere, with its romantic and classy look, is both cozy and stunning, especially with the outdoor seating surrounded by nature. The service was excellent, attentive, and welcoming. The cocktails made by Angel were beautiful, refreshing, and delicious. The food was fresh, delicious, and perfectly presented, with wonderful aromas and flavors.It's a great spot to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, date night, nice dinner or even a wedding. Check them out if you're in the area.
We went here for dinner last night, we were kindly greated by the chef and seated under this beauttfull tree, and the ambiance was great. We proceeded to order our entrees which was the roasted ceasar salad and steak tartar 10/10. We then ordered the mains which was the ribeye for me and the argentinian wild shirmp, my wife loved the shrimp, i however was feeling like the ribeye could use some more char and it came more like medium wel then the medium rare i asked for, however the butter that was on the ribeye really made up for it. That made the dish great. We got sides of mushroom and herbs, wild carrot and coconut rice. The first 2 were 10/10 the coconut rice however we felt was missing flavour and was a little to wet for our taste. Service was good but it seems like they could use one more server since they were super busy and didnt really have time to give everyone attention. But otherwise they were very nice. The cocktail menu is very limited, and sadly the bartender didnt really want to make anything custom. So for that and the ribeye not being to temp i give this 4stars ,Otherwise i would call this restaurant a great addition to curacao. And wil definitly be returning.
What a wonderful experience with our friend Marco Coppens.We had the honor to be invited to the Grand Opening of this delightful restaurant.It was my pleasure to have Marco cook a personal dinner for my birthday. A treat from my wife. Awe TY honey.Marco cooks with delicate undertones as a base of flavor then adds a splash of power to the meal with a special ingredient.You might think that special ingredient is love and you would be right.Every bite of his dishes are spectacular. For those with a sensitive palate, his dishes are filled with intertwining currents of flavor.Born from Dutch cuisine, and embraced by fusion, you will enjoy his courses.We tried many dishes but I'll talk about my favorite. Dessert, and I'm not talking about my scrumptious little Latin sweet thing, although, Gaby (my wife) is all about dessert. GS Pastry on Instagram and Facebook.I'm talking about the Passion Fruit Pie.It is amazing. A Merengue Lemon Cress with Passion fruit highlights. A must eat. An oasis for the senses.You have to visit this restaurant! You sit under a gigantic tree, bathed in torchlight and feel like you're in an oasis. The food is all about the grill, but unlike other grill restaurants, chef Marco conjures up mega-delicious dishes with a touch of fine dining. And at very moderate prices! The manager Israel looks after his guests with perfect attention and Brigitte, Marco's wife, creates the perfect ambience! If you want to experience a wonderful evening and a delightful meal, you have to visit this restaurant. It is second to none! Once again, many thanks to Marco, Israel and Brigitte 🥰
