We were in Lilu Apartments for 10 days.Right on the first day we had problems. When we arrived after more than 10 hours of flight, we stood with our rental car in front of the gates of the apartments. No doorbell, everything was locked. No one answered our messages on Booking.com. We already had the worst fears that we would have to spend the first night on a foreign island in the car.Desperate as we were, we shouted and screamed loudly. Fortunately, other guests heard us and opened the gate. However, there was no one in the office doing the check-in. We were FORGOTTEN!The other guests were kind enough to call the manager. After 15 minutes the manager came.The manager was friendly & nice, she apologized for the misunderstanding.When the Check-In to the apartment started we had the next negative point. The apartment was dirty! There was foreign hair on the floor and in the closets. The socket in the bathroom was slightly broken, the cooker hood for the oven was dirty, there was no container for toothbrushes, no towels for hands & face.After the first night I complained about these things. The manager apologized and was very eager to help us. The cleaners tried to clean the room again. However, since the cleaners only wet mopped & did not use a vacuum cleaner, they only spread the dirt on the floor instead of cleaning it up.I also didn't put my laundry back in the closet, so I lived out of a suitcase for 10 days.In addition, after a few days we saw cockroaches on the wall of the house. The neighbors (other apartment residents) reported that they also had cockroaches in the apartment.The house rules which were sent one day before check-in on Booking.com were also not correct. Laundry is free of charge.All in all, the staff was trying. But the first point with the check-in was a NO GO, as well as the dirty apartment.
