Marazul Dive resort

If you are looking for a private unit with bedroom, living room and kitchen with all the amenities in a safe and calm area, this definitely qualifies. The facilities might not be new, but they are maintained and kept in decent condition. Mind you, this is at the West-end of the island and is a perfect spot to leave the hustle and bustle behind you. Great beaches in the area, an onsite pool, stairs leading to the ocean, restaurants in the direct vicinity... a great place to relax and recharge.

This resort is perfect for getting to know the beauties of Westpunt. It is located less than 20 minutes by foot from Grote Knip and almost 25 minutes from Playa Kalki. There is also the opportunity to swim and dive, going down the cliff where the resort is located. Indeed, there are ladders. The rooms are equipped with full kitchens and barbecue spots. This is fundamental since the restaurants, nearby, close at 20:00.

The rental I stayed in was amazing the rooms were clean and the beds were great your a 5 minute walk from the beach also a 10 min walk to a great restaurant with a great view. I would definitely come back again to the same place.

We enjoyed the quiet and solitude of this place. Two sets of stairs makes easy access to the water. Great snorkeling along the wall. A short walk to a beach which is very quiet during the week.Load up on groceries before heading this way. Local Cactus Cafe was very good. Reservations are recommended. The Friday night barbeque put on by the local staff is well worth it.

Can't really call this place a hotel. They are more like sea side condo units. We got our unit through VRBO and stayed there for 10 days. First it's gated in and out, which even though we never had issues, makes it feel a tiny bit better. The area is very quiet. The views are amazing and beautiful. The back grounds at the ocean are well kept, flowers and really pretty. The unit itself worked great for us. Was really clean and had everything we needed. There was AC in our unit. We did see an onsite washer in the center area of the plaza and it looked like your air drying the clothes which was fine. There is a stairway from the units with direct access to the ocean for a quick swim, snorkel or dive. The area is very beautiful, quiet and peaceful. It's about 35 miles up north from the center of the island but very worth it in our opinion.

Wife and I stayed at this resort (unit 10B) and loved it. Having just come from Aruba, the quiet and tranquility of the resort was a pleasant change. We are not divers, but enjoyed snorkeling at the nearby beaches and having the opportunity to snorkel with the sea turtles. It was great sitting on the upper deck watching sunsets. Rental process was easy and we had no issues. Any questions we had were quickly answered via e-mail by the owners.I will say if you are looking for nightlife there is nothing nearby, but for a relaxing stay this is perfect.
