TLDR: I regretted booking this place and wish we had done more research before.Pros:- very clean apartments- well equipped kitchen that is very comfortable to cook in- very spacious apartment for a family with 2 young kidsCons:- the pool is NOT great for small kids, it is for adults and mostly deep- right next to the awful Sunscape which leads to excessive noise that one cannot enjoy the baloncy as well as a hideous view- right next to a river that emits a bad smell- right behind an unattractive building which ruins the view- the ‘seaview’ apartments hardly offer a seaview (see picture). We had to upgrade and pay lots more money to get an actual seaview on the 3rd floor. So, false advertising.- no sense of being taken care of and zero luxury feeling. Paying close to $400 a night, one expects a lot more.- paying that price and then being expected to take out your own trash, being charged extra for an additional bed change, not following up on additional requests and not offering free coffee is the worst service I have ever experienced at that price point.- they do not have a deal with any of the beaches, so you have to pay for a sun bed and beach entry everyday.- the noise levels from all the bars make this place very unrelaxing.- this is not a luxury placeOverall, I would advise against this place if you’re looking for an upscale stay. The only highlights about being located at Mambo (which you still have to pay extra for as mentioned) is that the water is very safe for small kids (ours are 6 and 4) so the parents can relax. And there are nice restaurants of which Mood is the best.
