MOMA stands for Modern Market. What is a Modern Market?
For us a Modern Market is a hybrid between a typical supermarket atmosphere and the local outdoor market atmosphere. What we wanted to accomplish with MOMA is to try to modernize the traditional outdoor market into an indoor experience for the whole family while still keeping that rustic feel. At Moma we focus also on the Modern Family. The Modern Family has different needs than the traditional family we know. The Modern Family wants more convenience oriented and less time consuming shopping with ready to cook products and daily fresh products in a smaller yet still complete market. We focus on the following areas at MOMA to make the user experience efficient and an everyday joy: • Comfortable, clean and safe atmosphere; • Easy to find everyday needed goods (convenience oriented assortment and convenient placement in store); • Goods quality are more assured than when you shop at traditional markets because of our daily supply of fresh goods; • Fixed and fair prices; • Assortment of “ready to go” products to help families spend less time cooking and have more quality time left over; • Ability to shop for majority of everyday family groceries at one place, which is smaller and will spare you time and energy; • Friendly and proactive staff that will help you get your daily shopping list ready faster; • MOMA also offers a café area where you can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee after your efficient and less time consuming grocery shopping.
