The food was good. A very relaxing atmosphere. The service could use some work. A lady was not happy that we took seat at a table (the place was almost empty), although there is no sign or person at the entrance.
We spotted this place from our tour bus and decided to find it on our way back—so glad we did! The atmosphere was excellent, and the staff was friendly. We shared a beef stew and carrot cake, both of which were very good. I highly recommend making the uphill walk to grab a bite. We're visiting from Atlanta, GA.
Cute place, the avocado dish doesn’t actually contain fresh avocado, but rather a packaged avocado dressing. Was hoping for the avocado smash featured in the other photos. The eggs were nice enough, but if a dish is called avocado smash, it should have fresh avocados. Service was nice
A delightful restaurant I plan to enjoy whenever I am in Curacao. It was located within walking distance of my Airbnb and I visited often.Grab a traditional island dish and a nice mixed drink and grab an outside seat for a relaxing and memorable evening, or go early to enjoy a delicious breakfast. I was greeted with a smile each time I visited and also met the owner, visiting each table to chat with guests. You can always tell a great restaurant because it is always packed with guests - I highly recommend, but you may want to make reservations to be safe. I noticed an ample amount of street parking.
Expertly executed main dishes. The fresh fruit juices tasted really good too.Got the mango dessert. Nice little dish with three different mango-based components.
My husband and I chose to have dinner at Maira’s Restaurant following a recommendation from our city walk tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this charming and authentic Curaçao establishment. The decor, ambiance, and food were all amazing; we loved it so much that we dined there twice during our vacation. We particularly enjoyed the seafood pasta, beef stew, and burgers—each dish was delicious.I highly recommend having dinner at Maira’s. The food and service were fantastic.
One of the best dining experiences we had on Curacao. The service was GREAT, which we hadn’t experienced on the island. Food was also great: calamari is AMAZING, seafood pasta was excellent, and mango dessert was the best dessert!! Very cute restaurant.
Great restaurant. We went without reservations and the hostess was nice enough to seat us. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. All dishes were flavourful and wholesome.
