Captain’s Sports Bar & Grill

We stopped by this place to watch the American football game and discovered it’s an awesome, fun hangout spot for watching sports. Staff was friendly, attentive, and accommodating! This will probably be our go-to spot from now on, thanks to the great vibes they offer.

If you're looking for a casual, affordable, and lively place, this is it! Typical bar food at some of the most affordable prices you're going to get in this area. As of May 2024, paid about $20USD for 16pc wings, decent sized and good quality with an excellent buffalo sauce! Beers are cheap as well, and nightly special are an additional bonus.

We were in Curacao for the Big East NCAA men's basketball tournament championship game. As big Uconn fans, we HAD to see the game. It was on Fox sports and we were unable to get it at the Marriott. The morning of the game, we Googled sports bars and found Captain's. We called and it sounded like the owner/manager(?) Oliver was still at home. He was unfamiliar with the network but assured us that he would find it and have it ready for us.When we arrived he had it on 2 TVs for us. One outside on the patio and one inside. SCORE! Oliver is a man of his word. Because we had late dinner reservations we only had apps and drinks. Both were excellent and very fairly priced. The service was excellent.The clientele was all locals with a family type party in the back room. If you want to watch US sporting events and enjoy food and drinks, I highly recommend Captain's. Oliver is the man!

The food was fresh, and because we are from the US, it was not seasoned at all. It was crunchy and fried to perfection. They do offer a dipping sauce, which makes it better. The locals seem to love this establishment. They were doing karaoke the day we went.

It was a End of the Year Dinner with my Colleaque..i have to say everthing was Delicioussss 😍🤤 I order de Surf & Turf with Cajun Curly Fries ...but i'm gonna post the other dishes as example.Captain's Bar @ Parera near the Gas Station... Go Visit 👌🏾

My husband and I, had the mixed ribs and chicken combo and chicken fajitas.. the ribs and chicken taste good..the portion of fries was huge! However the chicken fajitas came with good size condiments but the chicken wasn't enough to fill the 4 taco shells that came with it...also the chicken didn't had any fajita flavours, it was plain, I had to add salt to get some sort of taste from it! But if you want a really cold Amstel beer then here is the spot for it👍🍻. Services was a bit unstructured, just walk with some patience and all will be good!
