What is the PADI Open Water Diver Course?

Course Schedule and Requirements

The PADI Open Water Diver courses at Blue Bay Dive & Watersports start every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. The two-day course runs from 8:30 AM to approximately 3:00 PM each day. All equipment and materials are included, so all you need to bring are a towel and swim clothing.

Important Information

• Minimum Age: 10 years old. If you’re not quite there yet, check out the Bubblemaker program for ages 8 and up.
• Medical Conditions: Certain medical conditions and medications may prevent you from diving. Please review the PADI Medical Questionnaire and consult with your doctor if necessary.
• Flying After Diving: To ensure your safety, avoid flying within 12 hours of a single dive or 18 hours if you’ve done multiple dives in one day.
