Indian Trail

A 20 minute self guided walk along the Indian Trail will get you acquainted with the typical vegetation of Curacao. A map with explanation of what you see will show you the way. Also you will be able to see the Indian carvings done by the Caiquetio Indians more than 1500 years ago. These carvings have only been found in this area of the Caribbean and in certain areas along the South American Orinoco river where this tribe originally came from.
Animals: In our Park you can find the impressive iguanas, beautiful birds, turtles and tortoise and last but not least Mauwi the House Cat. In the Cave we have a colony of fruit/nectar eating baths so entering is safe for us human beings .
