Mountain bike tours

I have probably been on 15 cruises and biking around curacao was my favorite. While, it may be marketed as a mountain biking tour, this is without a doubt an easy cycling tour that the leaders can tailor further for a group if need be. On our tour we had Walter who was not only polite, but entertaining and able to give us a healthy taste of what the culture and history of the island is like. Doing the tour on a bike was more rewarding and hands on than a tour on say a bus, and we were able to see so much of this beautiful island because we were on a bike.

If anyone is passing through this part of the Caribbean and especially on a cruise while you may be looking for some cardio to kick your appetite back up, I would 100% recommend these guys.

As an avid cyclist, I was looking for a solid training session in Curaçao. Max, who mountainbikes competitively, took me on a fun and intensive 2:30h ride across the technical trails this part of the island has to offer. From the communication, preparation, reception, route and material, everything was top notch. If you like cycling, you’ll love WannaBike. Highly recommend!

My wife and I went on the mountain bike tour of Curacao with WannaBike on my birthday. I would highly recommend this bike tour of the island. Mountain bikes are really good and well maintained. Our ride leader, Claudio, took us on trails based on our riding level. We went on some great trails, visited points of interest and saw pink flamingos in the salt marsh. Our ride leader also took fantastic photos along the way. Also, they had a birthday treat for me at the send of the ride. You can't beat WannaBike!

One of the funnest excursions we went on. Cruising with Royal Caribbean and we just wanted to try something different. While my wife and I have plenty of road-bike experience, we have no mountain-bike experience and they couldn't have been more helpful. The owners also own a local bike shop and they are just down-to-earth good people. Goes without saying that I would definitely recommend them and we will be doing it again.

Great tour. My wife and I in our mid forties and our kids 14 and 12 thoroughly enjoyed it. Sven was an excellent guide with good knowledge of the island in general and more specifically about the sites that we toured. We've done some biking in the past but don't have tons of experience so his riding tips were very much appreciated. My wife and daughter stuck to the easier trails while my son and I went on a couple of the intermediate ones which were a lot of fun. Sven mentioned that there is also the option of sticking strictly to the pavement for the less adventurous cyclists. We started shortly after 8am and finished around 11 so it wasn't too hot. If we come back we will definitely be booking a tour with wannabike Curaçao again as they also offer tours in the west punt area which is also beautiful.
