The highlight of our trip! Hilde and Norbert prepared a beautiful boat day with every detail planned for us to relax. Directions were very clear to reach the marina and we were greeted with champagne upon arrival. Next, we were able to snorkel in an almost completely private bay where we saw fish and turtles! Last but not least Hilde prepared a delicious tapas board which we finished to the last bite… see for yourself why!

We did a private sailing trip with Hilde and Norbert and we had an absolute blast. They took us to a quiet bay where we were the only ones around and cooked us an amazing lunch. Hilde and Norbert were so nice and accommodating. It was the perfect relaxing day out on the water.

Wonderful day of sailing including snorkeling in a bay. The interior cabin was in great condition and hosts were super friendly. The snacks were the best I've had on a quick day sailing. The helped accommodate vegan requests from some of the passengers. Would highly recommend a day on the water with Hilde and Norbert.

It’s hard to describe how fantastic our experience with Hilde and Norbert was. The email communication was excellent. We booked about 6 weeks in advance. We were picked up right on time at our hotel. We didn’t need to bring anything other than our bathing suits and appropriate gratuity. The co-owners are very friendly and personable. They told us about the boat, the area, and their story of getting to Curaçao. I don’t drink and my wife can’t eat gluten. Hilde has 2 types of zero alcohol beer for me. She also made sure everything on the tapas board was gluten free. We had a great time snorkeling in the bay, enjoying the sunshine on the deck, and having the boat to ourselves. The boat is well maintained and the owners clearly take pride in offering a 5 star experience. We’re grateful for the incredible hospitality they showed us. A once in a lifetime experience.

My wife and I were very fortunate to find Maxie Sailing in Curacao prior to our trip. We found their information on Facebook however they also have IG. Leading up to our private sailing excursion Hilde was readily available via WhatsApp and provided all details regarding the trip.

We arranged for private transportation from our hotel. Hilde arrived exactly on time and picked us up. She drove us to the Santa Barbara area of Curacao to their private slip at Seru Boca Marina. There we met Norbert our Captain.

We were greeted with sparkling wine and off we went. We motored out about an hour to Fuik Bay a private bay only accessible by water. We anchored and spent an hour or so snorkeling. There is also a private beach. We returned to the boat where Hilde had prepared a generous charcuterie and tapas board (taking into consideration food allergies).

After another hour or so of delicious food and great conversation we set sail toward the marina. It was a perfect afternoon. We arrived back at the marina shortly after 6:00 and Hilde drove us back to our resort. Hilde and Norbert are wonderful, extremely knowledgeable people with great life experiences. Conversation was great. Food and drink were great. The boat was great. Everything was just perfect.

Thank you to Hilde and Norbert for a memorable trip. We hope our paths cross again!

Hilde & Norbert are the perfect hosts on a wonderful sailing yacht.
We went on a boat trip with them for our 10th anniversary and had a wonderful time. They both are great people and make you feel right at home. You start the tour with some olives, cheese and sparkling rose. In the fuikbay a secluded bay awaits with turtles and a lot of fish (great for snorkeling!)
Norbert is a fantastic captain and Hilde prepared wonderful homemade tapas to be enjoyed with a drink of your choice (we had some beers and rose wine).
We highly recommend to book a tour with them when you are in Curacao, it was the highlight of our trip.
