Sailing course one person dinghy

You would like to learn how to sail a Sunfish? Spanish Water is the place to this. Always wind and temperature of the water is great, you won’t get cold when you fall in the water or capsize, which will surely happen every once in a while. Once you know the basics we can go to areas with more wind,so that you can go really fast, planing over the waves. We can even go to open sea, to surf down the big waves.
Sailing instructors Theo Freriks and Daniel Diepeveen have a lot of experience on Sunfish and know very well all the tricks on how to master these fast little dinghies.
It is private course, no other participants, one instructor in a zodiac next to the participant. The participant decides, in coordination with Pro Sail, when he or she comes.
The basic course consist of three lessons of two hours during which you learn how to rig the boat, how to sail her, as well as the basic rules of the road/water. Sailing experience on larger boats is an advantage, but not necessay. You must know how to swim and you have to wear a life vest at all times.
The advanced course consists also of three two hour lessons in which we deal with racing the Sunfish in regattas and races. Techniques of starting and racing will be dealt with as well as the whole set of racing rules.
