From January 2019 to June 2019, I rented an apartment at this location with my girlfriend.The apartments are very basic and dated, but in principle everything is there. The living room is ok, but it is very warm due to the lack of air conditioning and because the apartments are not exposed to the wind. In addition, there is little privacy because you are sitting almost directly in your neighbor's garden.During our stay there was extremely poor WIFI, making working from home impossible. The bedrooms were small and the bathroom was dated.The location is central, but it is very noisy. There were dogs barking constantly during the night and a rooster crowed everyone awake at 5amIn addition, the apartments are very unsafe. There have been two burglaries, once probably by the cleaning ladies.The relationship with the landlord was very unpleasant.Swimming pool was fine, with nice sun loungers. The washing machines were outdated, but there are plenty of laundromats in the area to still have your clothes washed.Advantages:- The apartments are relatively cheap (for Curacao) and there is often room even if you want to stay there for less than a year. However, you get what you pay for.- It is centrally located in Salina, a 5-minute drive from mambo beach. Perfect small resort with 8 apartments and a pool. High quality wifi. Airconditioning in the bedrooms and cable TV in the living room. Perfect for a holiday or long stay. In beautiful Curaçao 🇨🇼
