Amalia Boutique Hotel & Vacation Apartments is a small scaled Adults Only vacation retreat on Curacao. Our rooms are ideal for guests who are looking for a simple hotel room without the expensive hotel rates.We serve free coffee and sandwhich in the lobby from 8 am to 9 am. OUR APARTMENTS: For guests seeking more space than a hotel room, we offer our apartments. Each apartment features 1 bedroom, private bathroom and a living room with open kitchen. OUR SWIMMINGPOOL:Our swimming pool is not big (3 meters x 7 meters) but it’s perfect to cool off. WIFI:We offer free WiFi. The reach is best in the lobby and at the large palapa. SMOKING:Smoking is not allowed on our property and it is especially forbidden to smoke in our accommodations.There is a smoking section outside our entrance. LOCATION:Jan Thiel is one of the most attractive and costly residential areas of Curacao. Here you will also find the Jan Thiel Beach & Plaza and the best holiday resorts on the island. There are several restaurants within walking distance from us, such as: De Kleine Wereld, Pirate’s Nest, The Pier, Pop’s, El Fuego, Kyoto, Tinto, Papagayo, Zest, Zanzibar and more. At the Jan Thiel Beach you will find a wide variety of amenities to make your stay on our beautiful island as pleasant as possible, like snorkeling, diving, kayaking, jetski, scuba diving and the super cool Zapata flyboard. Besides these beach facilities you will also find bars, casino, spa / wellness / fitness center and several shops. There is also a small grocery store at the Jan Thiel Beach for your convenience.

Perfect place to enjoy a relaxed holiday. Casa Amalia is a beautiful villa with an artsy atmosphere. Most of the time it felt like I was staying with family, everything is so relaxed and easygoing.
I stayed in a hotel room, room was big enough with good working airconditioning, big wooden furniture (loved the big comfortable bed) and a nice bathroom with a good shower.
Cleaning lady came every other day and took great care of the room. Very nice to come back in a clean room with fresh sheets and towels every time.
Casa Amalia has a dipping pool surrounded by sunbeds. The garden has some palm trees, plants and beautiful sculptures.
In the back there is a line to dry your towels and bathing suits.
Near the pool there is also a small area where you can sit and use the kettle.
Neighborhood is quiet and when lying at the pool area you spot parrots and other birds flying around. Early in the morning you can find an iguana strolling around. Jan Thiel beach is walkable, would recommend a car for seeing more of the island.

Casa Amalia is a wonderful place for a holiday and relaxing vacation. Easy going. Haithem is a very pleasant Casa Manager to work, and to drink a beer or wine with.

An excellent adults-only place to stay and enjoy the host's hospitality. To call this a hotel doesn't do it justice. You're staying at the (very comfortable) house of an artist. Do read the description on the website so you'll enjoy your stay even more. The rooms are excellent if you plan on staying there only to sleep, but I recommend the excellent appartements if you wish to have your own space to make your meals.
Wonderful place, can't recommend it enough.

amazing hotel. The owner is very kind and helpful. I will be coming back often. The hotel has a lot of beautiful statues that make it feel very unique. There is a very high end feeling here but also very casual - it is a perfect mix.
