Atelier Skalo Boutique Hotel

Our experience at the hotel was incredible.Since we arrived we have been very well received.The room we stayed in was super comfortable, clean, quiet, we slept very well, it was a perfect stay.Hotel is in an excellent location, close to everything. My husband and I visited several important points of the city on foot, the main restaurants and souvenir shops are very close by (5 minutes away).I believe that staying well on a trip is the basis of everything, because you need to rest well, take a good shower to be able to enjoy the day, the tours, etc. That's why I'm always very careful when choosing a hotel to stay at. So if you want to feel at home, stay at Atelier Skalo Boutique Hotel Curaçao. I have nothing but praise for this super cute hotel.

We stayed here for a quick two day trip to curacao before heading to Aruba. The stay were absolutely phenomenal and offered us water during check-in before showing us to our room. Each room is thoughtfully designed with its own theme. The rooms were so cute and immaculate. We were celebrating our birthdays while visiting and they surprised us by decorating the room with balloons and a birthday sign which was such a sweet gesture. We absolutely loved their courtyard as well, its such a beautiful oasis, I wish we could have stayed longer. Parking was a breeze as there is street parking outside of the hotel. One thing to note, the hotel was a bit hard to find with google maps but just look for the beautifully painted building and it the green building across the the street, there is a side entrance with red doors on the green wall. The hotel is a short 5 minute walk from the downtown area and is close to many restaurants. We felt very safe walking around during the day and at night. I hope to return some day as this was the perfect place to stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Atelier Skalo for 2.5 weeks, and the staff made our time their very comfortable. The property is beautiful with a cozy, enclosed courtyard that's great for relaxing and reading or working if you're a digital nomad. Therooms are spacious, well-equipped with the essentials, and cleaned frequently. We had to switch rooms while there to accommodate my mother's health needs, and the general manager was extremely helpful and understanding about the situation.The internet is also good, if that's a concern as it was for me. I had to do video conferencing several times throughout my stay and never had any issues. One great thing about the hotel is its location, which is just a short walk from central Punda and close to stores, restaurants, museums, and other attractions. The next time I'm in Curacao, I would definitely stay here again.

Corisa, in the weeks leading up to our trip, was a beacon of support, providing thorough, honest, and enthusiastic answers to all our queries. Diego, on-site, ensured our every need was met seamlessly, making us feel genuinely cared for, not like an inconvenience.Their knowledge of cultural history, dining, and excursions enhanced our visit, creating a sense of staying with old friends rather than at a hotel. Moreover, the boutique hotel's prime location allowed us to explore beautiful sites and diverse dining options, all within walking distance. The convenience of experiencing the neighborhood's charm on foot added another layer of delight to our stay, making it a truly memorable and immersive experience. Despite the hotel being relatively young and not widely known, Corisa and Diego's dedication and hospitality make it clear that it won't remain a hidden gem for long. I'm excited to see what the future holds for this delightful establishment on my next visit.

Definitely a 5 star. Whether it is for the staff's friendliness and helpfulness or for the place itself. Room was clean. Hotel is charming. It's close to everything. This place will be a gem real soon.
