Baoase Luxury Resort

Not exactly sure how this is considered a 5 star resort or the #3 resort in the Caribbean by Tripadvisor. A 5 star resort requires not only a beautiful resort but more importantly impeccable service.We have been trying to plan a wedding/honeymoon with Sue-Anne and her staff. There website states there is a $12K min for weddings. When emailing and asking what this includes and how we go about planning, they told us this was old and no longer applicable. Then Sue Anne told us that the min still applies. So we asked for the package/quote and they sent a package for $35K. What happened to the $12K and what that includes?I have called and emailed multiple times with no response. We are moving into our 3rd week, still with no quote on the services we requested. They have been extremely inflexible and seam to want us to buyout the resort for 7 person wedding (including bride and groom) for $90K.I continue to ask for clarification on what they do and do not offer. Once the confirm what they do offer, I request a quote be sent to me and have yet to receive the first one (other then their $35K package and $90K buyout). After following up via email, they email me back stating they cannot accommodate our requests but they can do "____". I then ask for a quote on what they have now stated they can accommodate and I never receive one, even after multiple follow ups. All we wanted was a simple beach wedding ceremony. We don't even care about a reception or any other type of wedding events.I told Sue Anne, we are determined to have our wedding/honeymoon at Baoase, we just need to figure out what wedding package is right for us. I basically told her, I'm ready to pay and book, just send me the what is included in the wedding pricing. Still no quote!!! Talk about an easy sale and not even attempting to catch the ball.At this point, I went and dug deeper into the negative reviews. They all seam to be surrounded by their event staff (Sue Anne has been named specifically in multiple), extremely slow drink/food service, and billing.At this point, we will no longer be staying at Baoase for any portion of our wedding/honeymoon. They have given a clear indication of their level of service and care. You'll get better service from a Holiday Inn than Baoase.It's tragedy that such a beautiful resort is managed so poorly....To the owner/managing group,We planned to have 5-6 rooms book in March or April time frame. Just know that 5-6 vacancies you have during this period were practically guaranteed to be filled, but Sue Anne and her staff have provided such slow and bad service that we will not be staying at Baoase and have taken your resort completely off our bucket list.I hope this helps you make positive staffing decisions and service changes to your business.

What a gem. Spent my birthday here June 2024. Definitely one of the best hotels (my partner's hands-down favorite) we've ever stayed at. Can not wait to return. Everything was perfect. Just go :))

My family member stayed here, it is a gem. The rooms/villas are cozy with great views, large beds, separate sinks, shower, large walk in closets with organized shelves, drawers & places for all your hangings. Rosewood flooring thru out, with leave your shoes at the door rules but you get slippers to walk around in. Bar/restaurant gas lots of shade under the palm trees or a tiki hut on the water, either offers some amazing views of the beach & ocean beyond. Breakfast choices are made to order, offering a wide variety of eggs done your way, pancakes, crepes, with fresh fruit, choice of mimosas made with passion fruit, kiwi, pineapple, fruit punch & a few other varieties besides orange. They also have drinks for energy & immune boosting also made from fresh fruit juices. Lunch/dinner options are just as good with a variety. It is located within a short distance to Mambo Beach, but you can reserve activities thru Baoase. My family did the yacht trip that offered lunch & went snorkeling. So, if you want, cozy, luxury, romantic & don't mind being catered to, Baoase is it!!!

I can not recommend this resort enough! Coming into the resort having a delayed flight and lost luggage the staff instantly got us everything we needed! The villa was absolutely stunning, with music and treats! The staff was the best we have ever had, remembering our orders, checking in to see if they would help with our lost luggage, suggesting new food or drinks for us to try! Our family was treated wonderfully and we could not recommend a better place! David the bar tender was wonderful to chat with, Liv the receptionist was beyond helpful, and so many more!

Oh my goodness. Baoase was perfect. Exceptional service!!! Food was phenomenal. Every detail was taken care of to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Beautiful and comfortable accomodations. Cannot give enough compliments. The only resaon I gave 4 stars instead of 5 regsrding location is because I was looking forward to walking a long beach. While their beach was secluded and lovely, alas it was not a walking beach. BUT, I would go back in a heart beat. Hated to go.

Incredible experience at Baoase Luxury Resort and restaurant for my 40th birthday vacation. Service was exceptional. The food was incredible. The ambiance was beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a better resort experience. This is definitely the place to stay, eat, and relax. I'm looking forward to coming back soon. My bf surprised me with a beautiful birthday dinner last week at this beautiful place. Walking in, I was instantly impressed with the attention to detail and warmth of the staff. We were met by a lovely young woman and she offered us drinks and let us walk around while we awaited the dinner service. The ambience of this place was unbelievable. It truly felt like we entered an enchanted island! We sat right by the water with little kayaks lit 🔥 Dinner was unbelievable! Every dish was better than the next. We cannot wait to visit again and stay at this resort. Thank you to the team for making this an unforgettable experience 🩷

My wife and I searched for a property to vacation with our adult children, including spouses and partners. When we discovered Baoase, we knew it was the right place to make a memory. From the moment we arrived, we sensed our expectations would be exceeded. The beauty and intimacy of the property provides a sense of tranquility and belonging. The staff are incredibly warm, and fully dedicated to making your day amazing, at each touch point. The food and our “dedicated beach front dining room” was amazing. What an incredible way to share a meal with your family. We all left (reluctantly) in a better place than when we arrived, and we can’t wait to visit again to continue on our journey of memory building. Bravo to all at Baoase who contributed to our amazing week in paradise.

Our family of four, including two teens, just returned from a 6-day stay at Baoase and we cannot wait to go back! This intimate resort is an impeccably maintained gem. The villas are clean and beautifully appointed and the food, all served beach-side, was delicious. What really stood out to us, however, was the staff. Everyone went out of their way to greet us by name and ensure we had the stay we wanted. For us this was a mix of quiet family time in our villa, relaxing beach-time, and snorkeling and diving adventures at key spots on the island. Thank you for helping us to create memories that will last a life-time!
