Blue Bay Curaçao Golf & Beach Resort

Nice resort but the beach seems to have some kind of sewer issue so you might notice the smell, especially closer to the edges of the beach, next to the brook. I suspect that brook doubles as a sewer.Also, one of the bartenders at the beach tried to scam me out of 31USD by charging me full ANG amount in USD and not giving me a receipt. So always check your charges on your bank app.

Even though I got injured here, it is my favorite spot out of the 3 Islands we visited on our ABC Island Cruise with Carnival. 🌊 🚢We took a taxi here from the Cruise Port Terminal, because the beach is open to the public when you pay for entry. You get a chair & the option to find a spot out of the sun. (Which is crucial in July 🌞) There's a place to order drinks, showers, bathrooms~ all the essentials, when you're visiting briefly from a cruise ship.‼️Please be aware that there are GIANT rocks by the shore AND further out into the water. I unfortunately learned the hard way, that I was not safely past all the rock piles once my body was submerged in the sea.After my daughter & I got past the rocky shore, I assumed we had free range to swim ~ as I kicked my feet to swim further out, the top of my foot collided with a huge rock pile I failed to notice until calamity struck. The impact was hard enough to draw blood & make two toes go numb. They didn't have a first aid kit at the resort, so I washed it in the sea, with a bottle of water after & elevated it until our taxi returned to bring us back to the ship.(I'm writing this 5 days after this incident & I still have one numb big toe & nerve damage on the top bones of my injured foot.)Despite the injury, I still believe Blue Bay Resort in Curaçao, was my favorite place to visit! I loved the layout of the resort, the views, the comforts available & reprieve from the sun. I hope to one day return!

Our dream definitly came true at The Ridge: luxury apartments with seperate private infinity pools and direct access to the natural private Blue Bay Beach.The service of Blue Bay was outstanding and they helped us with everything we needed, just like in a hotel.The private infinity pool, the peace, the sound of the ocean, the amazing designs, the large rooms with a walk-in closet. All of this made our stay priceless.We would highly recommend to book your stay at The Ridge, when staying at Blue Bay for an unforgettable experience.

We played Blue Bay Golf Course on a Thursday morning 6.2024..they do have rates and tee times online. Also driving range restaurants bar on premises.. the golf course was in good condition .Only one golfer that we let play thru . This not crowded due to temps high86-88 all week by noon. This made the course an even better experience! Nicely laid out some holes are a cart drive plus apart esp back 9.. 2 holes with ocean views.. we did not do resort just golf .. saw more flamingos at pond by tee #1 than at the flamingo sanctuary!

The 2 star is only for the fact the villa has the possibility to be beautiful.Its gorgeous , I understand it’s like an apartment rental ,so bring your own stuff, but anywhere I’ve been like this provides coffee, which it had but not enough for one coffee.Outside furniture has debris and bird poop on it, again understand it’s outside ,but for the cleaning bill you pay , there’s no way it was done earlier .No A/c in living space, which we knew, but holy it was hot.Finding this place, in the dark was horrific, you’ll never just “ drive up” if you haven’t been here, poorly lit ,the numbers are impossible unless you have reasonable idea, and get out and start walking.we stopped 3 people, and still struggled.( our reasonable idea came from gate attendee)We were in indigo garden , the noise and traffic holy heck, your literally sleeping beside the street with shutters between you, so ALL the sounds of cars you hear, no one slept.there was a lot of traffic all hours .People with family , nothing around so anything you need your walking about 20 min, or get before you come, or have a car.Beautiful , would never come back.

We stayed at The Ridge for a few days and it was absolutely wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful, both at check-in and check-out times (someone even came to pick up the keys and return the golf cart we'd rented!)The view was gorgeous, especially while cooling off in the infinity pool, and there was plenty of shade on the patio to sit and relax outside in the afternoon. The unit seemed to be still quite new, and I wouldn't have minded some acrylic glasses or cups to have by the pool, but beyond that I was very pleased and would definitely recommend!

We booked a short stay at Blue Bay in The Ridge accommodations. From check in to check out we had a lovely stay and the resort staff were friendly and cordial.Our booking came with a beach pass and a friend recommended we should rent a golf cart to get around, this was great!The apartment was brand new with top-notch appliances, and the beds were very comfortable. Our very own private infinity pool was the best feature, we spent most of our time lounging and sunning in or next to the pool.I am a scuba diver, and the reefs on Blue Bay are some of the best that Curaçao has to offer! The dive shop and staff are very helpful, and they were able to provide a dive computer as I left mine at home. (To rent of course)One small issue was that we did prepare most of our meals in the apartment and there was nothing (soap or sponge) we could use to clean up after ourselves, but our trip to the nearby grocery store remedied that.I highly recommend you make your next stay in Curacao at The Ridge in Bluebay Resort, we will be back for sure!

While on a cruise stop to Curacao we were fortunate enough to visit this beautiful location. We took in the refreshing and calming ocean view. To say this is breath taking is an understatement. If you get the opportunity to visit Curacao, make it a point to visit this location. We enjoyed some beach time and also did some snorkeling. We saw the beauty above and below for sure. I can't describe how wonderful of an experience in words, you have to see it for yourself.
