Nice lodges and great park with many amenities

We stayed in villa indigo 20. Cute property but there's no AC in the main area. This resort/community is a beautiful. It's a gated residential community that has rental property for guests. I believe there are 4 restaurants and they offer a private beach.

The rooms are nice but the distance to bars and restaurants makes the lodges unsuitable for older persons.

Nice gated community. They have a range of accomadation types. The place has a golf course that is looked after. They have there own beach. Very nice. Good snorkelling to be had there. They have a bar and restraunt there also. You can get bar snack food there also. Every Friday from 5 pm until 7pm they have happy hour. It's very popular. Have price drinks more or less.

Enjoyed our stay for 2.5 days. They treated our 11 yr old son at the golf club house very well as he used the driving range, chip and putt green and their clubs for free and they really enjoyed how funny he was with other guests.Beach was great and food fantastic at restaurants. The pool was amazing and most empty and we had it most of time to ourselves. They did charge us for using beach and pool chairs like some places if u stay at their facilities.Overall i would recommend. Great 0lace to walk as well 1.5 to 2 km each way to beach or u can rent a golf cart for 24 h to get around from pro shop.

When we drove here there was a really bad odor coming from the refinery. We were a late check in and weren't really sure where we were going, we found the reception area and our key in the box but it took us about 20 minutes to find our lodge in the dark because were on the back of the reception area ( most lodges are in front). It's a longish walk to the beach. If you have a car it's easier to drive. The room also smelled weird when we got here, kind of like food from previous guests perhaps. It was very clean and not a lot of bugs which can be a problem on the island. There is maid service which I didn't know about so maybe dont leave your stuff out. Also the safe key is your room key which made me a little uncomfortable considering that meant all the staff had access to our stuff. We went down to the beach Friday night and it was packed. There were tons of screaming children. Blue bay is also a residential neighborhood so children live here and treat it very much like home screaming and running around. We have two kids, were used to kids, but while lounging on the hammock I dont really want to hear a screaming toddler or have sand thrown in my face by a curious small child. Early Saturday morning was okay but for the price I dont think the whole experience was worth it.
