The beach is made of coarse sand and pebbles and is popular for snorkeling and diving because its part of the underwater park. Also popular with the island residents. There are several small restaurants, there water is usually calm and the admission is free.

nice picnic tables etc.... good snorkeling.... But who wants to come on vacation in an industrial port and underwater landfill! see pict. The noise and construction from the ships is just unbearable

Lovely beach on the south side to snorkel and enjoy the sunsets. Plenty of parking in the area as well!

Nice beach, not very wide and a bit rocky. You can bring your own food and drinks, there are tables to sit at. There is also a bar to take something to eat or drink. The parking is big. It’s a nice area

Lots of stray dogs in the early morning hours when the far side of Caracas Bay Beach (Brisa Do Mar - Pop’s Place) is approached from the roundabout (Rotonde Padernan Dominikano) by foot. This area is pretty well lit in the early morning but the dogs are a nuisance and discourage individual walkers.

One of the best beaches in all of the Caribbean. Egalitarian, with sandy beach, picnic tables, restaurants, marina, coves, fishing piers, numerous snorkeling locations.
