We name it the Genuine Curacao Liqueur to differentiate it from other brands of Curacao liqueur that are not original.
And until today “the Genuine Curacao Liqueur” is the only liqueur that is made of the peels of the “Laraha” (the bitter orange native of Curacao). It’s produced in 5 different colors; the original clear liqueur, the famous Blue and Green, Red and Orange as well. And there are also the special tastes: Coffee, Chocolate and Rum Raisin. Pirate Adventure

Every Wednesday and Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm.

Departure point: Santa Martha Bay, Soto, Curacao

Route: Santa Martha, Blue Room, Playa Piskadó (turtles), and return with a beach/snorkel stop.

The tour was really informative, explaining the process and history. The samples were tasty, especially Tamarèin. There was also a wonderful bar with many different styles of drinks to get at a reasonable price.

We had a great time at the tour although it is very short. You can just go to the distillery and read the different boards if you don't want to pay for the tour I believe. One thing to note is that the liquor is cheaper in grocery stores than at the distillery by a couple of dollars. However it is more expensive at the airport. So if you want to take some home, just buy them at the grocery store.

It was an amazing opportunity to witness firsthand the production process of the renowned liquor this country is known for. Watching the skilled craftsmen at work through the windows was truly fascinating. And the best part? The generous sampling they offer! The liquor tasted exceptional. 🥃 I only wish I could have brought home more to savor. Highly recommend a visit for anyone looking to appreciate the artistry and taste of this exceptional liquor.

Great history of the island and the distillery. There's a gift shop where you can buy alcohol or some of their Refresher spray, which is amazing. It's also a bar where you can buy drinks to refresh yourself.

Little distillery but amazing product. If you want to taste what a cloud could tast try the Tamarin Curacao. Did you know that that all the colorful Curacao are just alimentary food colorant? Be carefully if you drive after the visit because you will not be able to stop after only one drink.

This was a great place to learn about the history of the “blue curaçao” liquor that everyone knows. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, and did the tour in 2 different languages since the other people in our group didn’t speak English. The free samples were fun to try. We tried an orange colored orange liquor, tamarind liquor, and chocolate liquor. We loved the chocolate so much we bought a bottle to take home. Then at the end of the tour our guide gave us a cocktail menu to choose a drink from, and served us a round of drinks that was included in the “basic” tour. The drinks were really good, and they did not skimp on the booze. We were so happy with them, we decided to stay and have another drink after. I’m not sure if you can just go back in without paying for the tour again, but if so, I would happily go back to try some more of their signature cocktails.
