The food was simply amazing. Arepas were perfectly crispy. Chicken was well marinated and tasty. Definitely recommend! Tourist friendly as well - the shop owner/manager helped us pick out what we would like. Must-stop for tourists if you are open to eating food you can't get at home!

I have been eating arepas from Deli Arepas since high school, back when the owner was selling from a mini car-truck in front of my school. I’m talking about more than 10 years ago. Recently vacationing on the island and tried out the now turned restaurant. I must say the quality hasn’t changed one bit, same delicious flavorful and savory arepa fillings! The owner still works in the restaurant and makes his own arepas and natural fruit juices.A must go to when you’re visiting the island and in for a delicious hearty savory arepa/ lunch meal!

We specifically went for the arepas and cachapas and then found out that the cachapas were only on Saturdays.Unfortunately, we felt that the food was very salty for our liking. The seating is very limited and had to share the small table with others. The coffee is not freshly brewed but just from a machine that you insert coins into.
