This was the bay of the Shell directors on the island. Nets were made against sharks as an extra security measure. The remains of these can still be seen above and below water. This construction is an ideal place for your safety stop at the end of the dive. At the poles you can see growth of sponges and corals. Sometimes there are also seahorses. This is a well-known dive site, so watch out if there are a lot of divers. Especially now that there is security. This reduces the risk of burglary in your car considerably. The dive site is beautifully both left and right. You might also be able to do a two-tank dive here. If this is the case, bring your own food and drinks because there are no facilities here and also in the vicinity. Just in front of the beach begins the steep wall, which continues to the right. so watch your depth, because you could easily go deeper than planned. While the wall is almost vertical, there is still quite a lot of sand. There are various types of sponges can be found on the wall. You can from this place to the tugboat dive site. If you’re lucky, this is a drift dive, but mostly here is very little flow. If you plan to head the tugboat, then it is advisable to put a car at the dive site. Walking back is not an option. It is too far.
