The visitor swims in the natural lagoon and the dolphin will swim with the visitor. For those who want to dive into the world of the dolphins themselves, there is the Dolphin Freedive. An experience that mainly takes place underwater. Snorkel with the dolphin to the bottom of their natural lagoon and study the behavior of these beautiful animals. Come face to face with a dolphin during the Dolphin Suba Encounter. While the visitor dives into the dolphin lagoon, he experiences a personal encounter with the dolphin. The visitor can pet him or her gently while you study the body and behavior of the dolphin. Diving license not required. During the Open Water Dive the visitor is taken into the world of the dolphins. The visitor observes their natural behavior in an environment of beautiful coral reef. During this unique experience, the dolphins follow the divers (outside their lagoon) to the open sea! Pictures are taken of each program by the special Photoshop team of the Dolphin Academy. What a WONDERFUL experience!!
The Dolphin Academy Curacao operation is very, very impressive - the physical "campus" for the dolphin is huge!! With fresh ocean water & other marine life constantly flowing/filtering in through jetty-like rock "wave-breakers".
And the fact that the dolphin can come & go on their open water dive outings, swimming freely (perceiving the Dolphin Academy as their home), is a great testament to their safety, and the relationships they have with "their humans"!! Loved every second of my time with these amazing divine spirits!!

Wow, we had such an amazing experience! We did the dolphin encounter at the end of January 2024, and it was incredible. I've done a full dolphin swim somewhere else that wasn't as much fun because it was a big group and we only got a little time with the dolphins. But here, we were on a platform with just four people, on dolphin, and one trainer for a good 20 minutes. We got to pet the dolphin all over, get a kiss and a handshake, and be thoroughly splashed! Giving a dolphin a bellyrub is a fantastic experience. Big kudos to the park and the staff for a well-run experience.
