We had our New Year's Eve dinner here. There was no special menu but the regular one was perfectly fine for us. Tasty, plentiful. Very friendly service! I forgot my scarf there and went to pick it up the next day - again, super-friendly.

Nice resort, but the restaurant is meh. We arrived and were "welcomed" by a lady with a face like an extreme whisky sour. Maybe a bad day, we thought. After 15 mins, another nice waitress who actually smiled, brought us the drink menu. To recap: our ribs were very small (for 22 bucks we could eat twice as much at a local restaurant), we had to send them back because they were salty as dirt, the same "whisky sour" waitress rolled her eyes when we told her they were inedible, she asked us to take our fries off our plate, hence we were eating new ribs with cold fries. Curaçao has so much potential but just refuses to give a basic service, whilst charging as if they are top restaurants. If you want to have a good dinner, avoid the beaches, avoid Jan Thiel in general. Go to Pietermaai, Penstraat, just far away from these tourist traps. Cheers
