I made my reservation for Kome about 6 months ago! I fell in love with everything about the restaurant and menu when I first saw it online. I couldn't wait to spend my birthday there.
Shemar was my server, and he was the sweetest, nicest guy. He was happy to suggest menu items and answered all of my questions. I decided to try something different, so I ordered risotto del dia with medium rare steak. Shemar also recommended a nonalcoholic drink for me called cool as a cuke. It was cucumbers, lime, and elderberry, and it was soo refreshing. Trust me, when you're dealing with a heat index of 109 degrees, refreshing is a lifestyle!
My risotto was everything I hoped for and more. It was creamy and cheesy but not overly cheesy. The steak was perfectly cooked, I definitely joined the clean plate club! Delicious! I was absolutely impressed with everything, the decor was beautiful, the murals on the wall were just magnificent. It's a beautiful place.
My only regret was that even after mentioning it was my birthday, I wasn't offered the dessert menu, but Shemar was busy and probably didn't think to ask me.
If I ever visit Curacao again (I sure plan to), Kome is on the top of my list for amazing food and service.

Good except the Kouseband w/ Black Bean Vinaigrette. The black beans were much much too salty. In a week of dining in Curacao it was the only bad tasting dish we had the entire time.
Also despite almost no one being there when we arrived, our fish dish and the beans took forever. We had no dessert and managed to pay quickly and it still took two hours.

This was the fourth restaurant we visited in Curaçao (all the others in more touristy areas of town) and this was by FAR our favorite. It felt contemporary without feeling kitsch or trying too hard, and rooted in the area (the menu listed local producers they had sourced ingredients from). The service was friendly and laid back. While we didn’t get any pictures of the food, it was incredible (especially the roasted duck pasta) and the creative, fun drinks hit the spot as well. Absolutely recommend this as a first stop to foodies visiting Curaçao!

Good food and good service. Restaurant has nice AC also. I wish the drinks where better. Basically top dollar for a drink with little to no alcohol, that was the only disappointment in the whole experience.

Please beware that this restaurant is very expensive

Food was absolutely amazing! We were there for Tapas night on Wednesday. My favorite was pork dumplings and my boyfriend’s favorite was the mushroom toast. But everything we had was absolutely knock your socks off 10/10! Life changing food.

Good food, cool interior. Service is great and the kitchen operates with efficiency akin to a Michelin star restaurant. Presentation of the arugula on top of the steak was a little strange - it blocked the steak entirely - but it tasted good.

The place itself is nice but no views or anything like that but the food and the drinks. Amazing. We came back the next day to try other dishes. Wednesday is tapas night.

Kome was hands down the best food experience we had while in Curaçao. We sat at the chef's table and was able to watch the chefs cook! Dillon, Eddie, Felix, and Arnold were a great team and we really enjoyed watching them cook and interact with us! They were so friendly and of course, the dishes they created were delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed every part of the meal - the octopus carpaccio, fresh tuna special, and pork belly sliders for apps and for dinner the steak special. The wine selection was also great. The manager, Lucas, was also very friendly, helpful, and he even brews a great beer! When we come back to Curaçao, Kome will be our first stop for dinner!

We loved Kome. The food was exceptional, and good vegetarian/vegan options. I had originally wanted to come here for date night, but got cold feet because I was worried the atmosphere wouldn’t be as upscale and maybe being by the beach would be better. But was wrong and we definitely should have done date night here! We came for lunch instead and were SUPER happy. Fantastic food and a nice atmosphere.

My husband and I thought about this restaurant the second we left and for the rest of our honeymoon, it was THAT incredible. The service was perfect, drinks were amazing, appetizers were unbelievably tasteful and our main course was the cherry on top to a great dinner. 1000000% recommend to any family, friend or neighbor to go here.
