Oliva – Mediterranean Gastro Bar

At Olivia Mediterranean Gastro Bar the atomosphere is wonderful sitting in the inner courtyard. Hotel patrons share the space, including a pool. All the plates are small so an adult may want to chose two menu items. The chicken parmesan was thin strips of breaded chicken topped with cheese and tomato sauce. It was good but not great. The meatballs were also good, but not great. The atomosphere makes up for any lack of flavor in the food. I've noticed that all the restaurants I've gone to Willemstad play 80's and 90's music mostly, including this one.

The Olive is excellent, great food and location. We ordered tapas of the chef's choice, it was delicious. Stafs so kind and comfortable place.We loved the drinks.I loved the experience.

This place is absolutely lovely and the food is delicious. Exactly what we needed after several days of delicious but rich food on the island. Tapas-sized plates with fresh, crisp ingredients, good wines by the glass, and BEST service on the island! We went back to try more plates that caught our eye at our first dinner and stumbled upon their grill night - amazing evening and again, warm and attentive service we might even go back a 3rd time to enjoy on this trip.

This restaurant is located in a 100 Year Old Historic Monastery that still serves as a boutique hotel. Upon entering, the atmosphere is angelic (literally) and the perfect spot for an evening with good food, drinks, and a date. Our hostess/server from Holland, now a permanent resident, was a joy to speak to. She answered all our questions and brought out one amazing dish after the other. I’m not a drinker but these drinks had me ordering round after round. BONUS: a sweet old local man might take you on a tour of the historic monastery after dinner, filled with his personal anecdotes of the property over the years. This is my favorite restaurant on the island after spending a week in Curacao. Dushi!

Very limited vegetarian options. The portions were a bit too small for our family of 4 adults and 4 kids. The portions were even smaller than appetizers. Food was tasteful and service was great. Would be fine if you are looking to drink and get appetizers not if you are looking for wholesome meal.

We had a perfect night at Oliva! We went with another couple and we could share lots of tapas. We loved everything, speacially the risotto and the calamari. The atmosphere of the place is amazing, with nice music and good service. We stayed outdoors and it was perfect to feel the caribbean air with glasses of wine!We finished ou meal tasting the 3 options of desserts and they were fantastic!
