We are Rob and Petricia Botbijl and we live on the beautiful island of Curacao since 2005. Here we learned scuba-diving and soon we knew this what we wanted to do: share our passion with others, teach them how to enjoy the beauty underwater in a safe and relaxed way! So Rob said goodbye to the royal dutch navy and Petricia quit her job as a nurse. We took the challenge and tried to live our dream. Since 2008 we own relaxed guided dives and every single day we enjoy island life, but most of all the contact and the diving with you! With us you are in the right place for discover scuba dives, and various padi, idd and iads courses. Are you already a certified diver? Then we offer you guided dives from shore, in small groups. So it’s a relaxed way of enjoying the underwater treasures! Safety and service are our priority, our goal is to give you an unforgettable experience! You don’t have transportation on island? No problem, we gladly pick you up at your hotel and return you there after your dive(s).(within a 20 km radius off the divecenter) Of course you can also rent your dive equipment with us and go diving by yourselves. We will gladly give you advise on where to go so you see the most beautiful dive sites curacao has to offer. One condition: you have to be able to show us that you are a certified diver, so don’t forget you certification card! When you are here, take a look in our fully equipped dive shop, you will find everything you need to snorkel and dive. We have for instance a big collection dive masks, you will surely find the one that fits you best. In our fill centre we fill your tanks with compressed air or nitrox. Our air is checked regularly and the most recent report is always available for you to see.

Prefer wind over engine power? Rent our Tiki Sailboat (Centaur) for just $40/hour (min. 2 hours) and explore the Spanish Waters, Santa Barbara pier, and the mangroves in peace.

This 20 ft (6.2 m) keelboat has two sails and fits up to 4 people. Available only for experienced sailors—lessons available on request.

Great dive. Petricia was great. Had a super 2 tank dive. We dove with them to dive sites further north. They took us to a dive site known for the turtles and it was a blast seeing the fat turtles that hang around for scraps from the fishermen. We love the steep reefs on Curaçao and the dive sites they took us to were wonderful.

We dove with Rob, and Petricia helped coordinate our dives. It was a seamless experience. Rob helped my wife and I do our first-ever shore dives together in a stress-free way. He was an amazing guide and took us to the best sites. He also gave helpful feedback on our diving technique and equipment so we could become better divers. He was extremely attentive to our safety as well - frequently checking in on us during the dives, but all in a really relaxed and casual way, that made the dives extremely fun! The equipment was well-maintained. We would dive again anytime with them!

I highly recommend this diving company for all diving experiences on Curaçao. Petricia took us on two “discover scuba” dives and it was the highlight of our trip. Snorkeling doesn’t compare the what you can really see below the surface. She helped us with all of the equipment, made us feel safe and comfortable, and showed us some of the best corals I’ve ever seen, unique fish, and sea turtles! I can’t say enough good things about this company and our experience. She even took some underwater photos for us to remember the experience.

Five star dive shop great service. Like their name says they will take you on relaxed guided dives. Nitrox tanks available. They have been amazing. We've been visiting Curacao for twelve years and love visiting relaxed guided dive shop. Great location for getting tanks to do awesome shore diving.

We have been coming here since 2010. Rob and Petrica are very professional and fun people. Their dive shop is centrally located in the near middle of the island and close to the best dive sites. They have Nitrox readily available and for great prices. They also rent weights. They make is easy to rent tanks and allow for day after returns if necessary. This is our 8 time here in Curaçao and we haven't missed visiting their fine dive shop. Thank you for being a great place for all our diving needs, we'll definitely be back.
