avoid this place. everyone is selling the same stuff for very high prices. the people selling beer try to sell them for double the actual price. they try to cheat you with the conversion rate. for example it was 5.50 florin for a beer on the menu... the cashier claimed that means 8 dollars... it actually should be 3 dollars. these people are scammers

The best place in town to enjoy our local food. Red snapper or stewed goat with funchi is a must for you to try. And the price is moderate.

This Market is great for small tourist purchases like hangers, local art, some foods and other knick knacks.I can recommend the fresh coconut you can get here!The vendors can be a bit pushy, but understandably, and they stay very friendly!

Very busy market, lots of vendors and tourists. A great place to pick up gifts and souvenirs. We tried fresh coconut that was cut open in front of us, milk and meat for $3 each.

I was advised to visit Yvonne's located upstairs for the best local food in Curacao and I wasn't disappointed. I had the Galiñas Stroba (chicken stew), Moro (rice, red kidney beans and vegetables) and fried plantains. The flavours were amazing and the chicken was cooked to perfection. My friend had the goat which was similarly lovely.We walked downstairs and tried a mango, passion fruit and orange juice smoothie. It was made in front of us using only fresh ingredients. Alongside the smoothies which were presented well, there were half coconut shells with mango chunks and a quartered orange that were topped with passion fruit pulp. The smoothies were great and it was nice to drink one made with all natural ingredients for a change.Downstairs you'll find lots of souvenirs, artwork, herbs, spices and even a few "potions." A must visit if you're in Punda.
