While staying at this resort in early August, things were going well despite the small number of dining options. However, on my fourth night at the resort while eating at their beachfront restaurant "The Salty Iguana", I had a startling disgusting experience when I found a worm in my hamburger (that I had been actively eating). This carelessness from the kitchen staff was unacceptable and I found myself struggling to eat at the resort for the rest of my stay. I informed the waitress and then the manager of the restaurant who offered to comp my dinner however due to paying for the all inclusive meal plan nothing was done to rectify the situation.

We frequented the Salty Iguana daily if not more during our stay at the Marriott in Curacao and it never disappointed! Jaymy was our favorite bartender and he was so helpful with recommendations of places to visit and explore on the island. So fun and friendly and all of the staff really elevated our experience! 10/10 would recommend

Nassuki, Dylan and Shavon were amazing out by the dive bar. They’re super friendly and welcoming. They’re tucked away so can be easily missed. They have a nice tiki bar with chairs and swings. Be sure to visit them. They’re part of the salty iguana!!!

When you just don’t want to leave the amazing Marriott, the Salty Iguana has all your needs. Happy hour is from 5-6pm everyday. Charcoal burger and fish tacos were my favorite options.

Nice place to relax and a beautiful view. The prices are high but this is in line with the rest of the hotel. Wine was really nice and a variety of beers. Sweet potato fries with spicy mayonnaise is always a hit.

Had lunch here using a “Resort for a day” pass during my cruise . Staff were very nice. I enjoyed a fruit plate . My husband and daughter both had the cheeseburger , which they liked as well. Also sampled a daiquiri later in the day which was refreshing.
