Santa Anna Curacao

We came here because we wanted a waterside restaurant. It's not quite waterside though- there is a road in between (and the occasional noisy car/motorcycle). That's a good thing to know just expectations-wise.

The owner/manager was really nice and friendly. Our server seemed a bit uninterested and aloof, though. She rarely checked on us and didn't seem interested in answering our questions about the menu. She also did not seem very knowledgeable about the menu (whether we could ask for a kids portion for our kid or what styles the fish could come in). We were not sure if this was a language barrier (for English), though.

The mahi mahi was fresh and tasty though very underseasoned. The manager said that a lot of visitors don't like a lot of seasoning, which I guess could be true? I ordered it "blackened" but there was very little of the seasoning. I was hoping for more authentic.

The alfredo sauce was top-notch though, would definitely recommend.

The seafood lasagna is amazing. A must a try. The place is very nice and the food was great.

This restaurant is truly special! The seafood lasagna I had was outstanding (I highly recommend it), amazing passion fruit cheesecake, great quality organic wines, and the vibes are the best. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for great food, extremely comfortable vibes and the best view of the water right in front of you.

Highly recommend to anyone who's looking for a nice lunch or dinner downtown for a reasonable price!
One of our absolute favourites in Curacao! Everything you order is fresh and tasty. Great plate presentation is truly delightful (and interesting). But above all we love the selection and creativity of the menu. We have already been there a few times and since my fiance loves fish and I'm Vegan. These guys serve very veggie-forward dishes that are not easy to find. We look forward to coming again soon.
Don't hesitate to give Santa Anna a chance and I am sure it will be the best experience you're going to have on the island.

We did not enjoy our meals. Fried fish over cooked. Tuna was overcooked and had a terrible flavor. Tough and chewy. Polenta cake was dry. Fries were ok. Peas eh what can you say about canned peas. Over priced and under whelming. Sorry maybe we ordered wrong but it was not a pleasant experience for the money. Service and drinks were fine.

There were flies hovering everywhere and landing on our food. We asked if we could have a candle or something to keep the flies away, but they didn’t have anything. This is a general problem with Curaçao, so I’m surprised using a candle or something to repel the flies isn’t more common.

The service was extremely slow. It could be because the two people working there were both new. They seemed pretty confused.

Wow I am shocked this place isn’t more popular. I had an excellent dinner here from the appetizer to the dessert. Everything tasted so delicious and I can’t wait to come back! I strongly recommend this place for a nice dinner. The decor is beautiful and you have a stunning view of the water too.

This restaurant is owned by multigenerational Chilean Chefs, everything here is made with passion and love, you can taste it, do not leave the island without checking out this gem.
