Tea Life Sanctuary

Came across this shop today on our excursion into town. The owner was amazing and very knowledgeable about tea! Would definitely go back!

The one and only shop in Curacao, specializing in "tea", the real tea leaves from Camelia Sinensis. Not herbal or infused drinks.

This place is owned and run by the only certified Tea Sommelier in Curacao Natasha, who will always, welcome you with a warm smile and she will share with you all the amazing stories about each tea she offers in her shop.

The amount of tea leaves, Chinese tea ceremony equipment, tea wares and everything is a joy to one's eyes. And almost 100 varieties of tea from mainly Asia.

Don't forget to take the opportunity to attend her Tea tasting sessions, where you will discover amazing variations of tea with cheese or authentic Japanese sweets, with in-depth stories and the history.

Natasha is wonderful and very knowledgeable about tea. The store is beautiful and stocked with all sorts of tea. If you have the chance be sure to book a tea workshop/tasting with her!

Such a nice and tranquil place! There is a wide collection of tea from all around the world and delicious Japanese sweets to pair with, also a very friendly owner :) We tried a delicious pu-erh and can't wait to drink more tea here. I would definitely recommend this place!

Pros: The stories behind the tea, while sipping tea, while breathing in the history of the tea, while enjoying the high ceiling of the teas stacked, while touching the wood jade infused tea table. A real owner who is really there and signs each tea bag and tea box. If you are a tourist become a traveller with each sip. If you are a traveller, welcome home!

Cons: Have to wade through touristy shops to find this hidden alleyway gem.

What an incredible treasure we discovered here in the heart of Pietermaai. If you are a tea lover you have to stop here. ( If you're not a tea lover you still have to try these speciality teas, and be amazed) The shop owner, Natasha, is a tea sommelier, and the quality teas prove this. We had the pleasure to be introduced by her in 'Gongfu Cha', 'the art of tea'. The flavours of these teas are complemented by the knowledge and passion of Natasha.

What a wonderful discovery outside our hotel Elements Curacao. Thankyou Natasha for the fun experience hearing all about your vast range of exotic teas.
