Excellent food, friendly service, in a charming dining room. Prices are high end but very competitive with what you would spend on fine dining in a large city in the States. Will absolutely be back.

We had a fabulous dinner at the Wine Cellar. We were celebrating my girlfriend’s birthday. The service was impeccable, they were attentive and available without being overbearing. We really appreciated the extra attention from do everything Daniel- who was owner, bartender, manager, sommelier, host, and also had entertaining stories about the restaurant and its artwork. The food was wonderful, best lamb chops I’ve ever eaten, and the steak had a delicious crust and was cooked to perfection. The surroundings were peaceful and an excellent spot for a romantic dinner date. A great night at a restaurant you should not miss in Curaçao!

First time at Wine Cellar and we will definitely be back. Wine list is very good, menu is diverse, strong and full of wonderful flavors. Service was top notch. Even the portions were ample.

The Wine Cellar is absolutely amazing. From the bread to the crêpes suzzette, it was so good! The service was perfect. The wine was excellent for being on an island in the Caribbean. The food tasted like we were in a small, haute cuisine restaurant in France. The selections on the menu are limited compared to Paris or NYC, but the taste is C'est délicieux.

We had an amazing date night at The Wine Cellar. I had the sole, which was absolutely amazing- I thought it was much better than the popular local fish restaurant. My husband had a steak, which he liked as well. We finished our meal with chocolate cake and the walnut pie. Highly recommend and would definitely return here again.

Didn’t have a reservation, the place is small but they still found room to seat us. The stuff mushroom appetizer was amazing! I had the truffle pasta and my boyfriend had the snapper. Both were so great. My boyfriend really loved the chili sauce served with his fish. He talked about it for a whole day after we ate there. One of the best meals we had on the island.

Simply incredible! Might be THE best food on the island! We had the lobster bisque soup, the filet, and chicken parmesan (best chx parmesan we've had in our lives!).. All were A++. Owner Daniel took time to talk with us often--such a kind, genuine man. And then he walks us to our car afterwards---who does that?! Highly recommend this restaurant!!

We had an absolutely amazing time, celebrating our birthday weekend in Curacao with our special dinner being at the wine cellar ! The food and service were impeccable, and one of the best places we’ve been on the island. You can feel the tradition as soon as you walk in the door from the unique paintings on the wall to the friendly long time staff! This was such a wonderful place to enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommend for a special occasion as a delicious meal in a traditional old school setting. Rubina was amazing, Danny was great and the food was fabulous!

Provincial French decor including paintings, ceramic plates, holiday bunting, various nicknacks and curios. Faux brick floor, in a clever zigzag pattern. Quiet atmosphere, gentle holiday music in the background. Elaborate table setting. Everything was designed in refined and good taste.
The owner greeted each table and made some small talks with diners throughout the evening. The prices were more expensive. The service was friendly and outstanding. The food didn’t meet my expectations. We were disappointed.
There was a long and excruciating wait for the main entrees. I understand they cooked everything fresh, but over an hour wait between appetizers and entrees was a bit too much. I didn’t know what’s going on in the kitchen. I was told they had a busy lunch crowd earlier.
I would think that a fine dining establishment should have known how to pace the courses. We skipped the desserts because of the long wait in between.

Complimentary salmon and cheese cracker hors d’oeuvre, bread and butter, and chocolates were served.

We ordered based on the reviews I read:
4*Beef Carpaccio- thinly sliced beef tenderloin, arugula, mustard dressing, capers, parmesan: it was excellent!

4*'Fole Gras' Pate-French duck pate, red berry coulis, buttered toast: excellent, texture was soft and delicate.

1*Roasted Rack of Lamb-New Zealand lamb, honey, minted jelly: based on our dining experiences, no restaurant can mess up this dish. Unfortunately the Wine Cellar missed the mark tonight for this most expensive entree on the menu. We ordered it medium rare, the meat was hard to chew even though the lamb was pretty raw. Not much flavor either.

3*Truffled Pasta-fettuccini- Italian black truffle sauce, mushrooms, and parmesan: it’s not the type of dish I usually order, but one review said the flavor was very rich, so I went for it. It was okay, not that impressive.

5* reviews we read gave us high expectations, and unfortunately the food didn’t deliver. I hope everyone else has better luck
