This place was a trek from our hotel but we went early enough so that we were not as sweaty upon entering. My cousin and I entered through the front door, not the side and it was a bit awkward b/c other patrons were already there and eating of course they stared at us (2 Pacific Islanders) and we ignored them and tried to navigate our way to the entrance/bar.No sign said wait to be seated so we sat where we could and later a server offered us that we could eat at a table in the front - we declined and tried to fit our food in the tiny table (you'll see in the photos.)The ambiance (where the barista was) felt more like a coffee spot for me rather than the front area. I ordered a flat white, which was good… comparable to Monmouth in the UK. I said comparably, not better but decent and better than typical spots in the US. My cousin got an iced coffee and since she can't handle strong coffee… she wasn't a fan.Food… I asked our server what she recommended and she said French toast, fresh fruit. OMG… it was on point. Probably the best French toast I'll ever have… forever ruined. The portion was just right and the honey and the fruits that they used complimented the honey and the bread was crunch, not soggy! It was amazingly delicious. My cousin had the Soft boiled eggs, bacon, and avocado… she liked it but for you Americans out there who are used to crispy bacon… sadly this bacon wasn't crispy.Overall… the two servers that helped us were friendly and helpful. I also ordered a flat white to go… I was in desperate need of a good coffee spot. Well worth checking out.PS: If you have TJ Maxx or Home Goods… I wouldn't suggest buying their coffee beans. I made the mistake of buying a decaf for my Mom and she said she bought a few last year at discounted prices from those stores. They also don't curate their beans (from the island).
