What Is an Introduction Dive?
This guided scuba experience starts with a brief theory session, followed by shallow-water skills practice and an open-water reef dive. You’ll learn basic techniques—breathing underwater, clearing your mask, equalizing pressure—and discover the ease of moving underwater, all in one half-day program.
Age & Participation Requirements
- Minimum age: 10 years old
- No upper age limit, but divers under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
- Health & fitness: Average fitness level; reasonable physical health required
