Morena Resort

It was amazing! My room Aura is like a complete apartament and the service is very good and Fast! I strongly recomend. I Went in May 2024 per fifteen days.

Truly a wonderful find! It's located just a few minutes away from Jan Thiel beach, where there are various restaurants of your choosing. Morena is clean, spacious and safe. The pool areas are quite immaculate and the staff make you feel welcome and comfortable. It gives a homey ambiance. Definitely recommend.

Great eco hotel. If you're dutch probably anywhere you stay in Jan Thiel beach will be great for you. Close to the Papagayo beach club, lots of option to eat and enjoy the nature.Mosquitos are wild so they need a better way to block their windows so they don't enter your room. Mosquito repellent is a most!The place is nice and quiet, staff is helpful and kind. I would come back for sure :)

Nice resort for people who are looking for a quiet place away from the crowds at Papagayo. Our villa (#1024) was situated in the garden and the patio gave a lot of privacy. Note that some of the apartments are close to the main road and/or parking. I would personally avoid these. Despite all apartments and villas were booked the place didn't feel crowded. Plenty of empty chairs at the pool. If you like spare ribs go to the restaurant and you won't get disappointed. The one thing we didn't like were the mosquitoes. Even after using sprays and other aggressive stuff to avoid being bitten we were all severely attacked by these little buggers. We had to go to the pharmacist to buy a cortisone creme to get rid of the itchiness.

If you like comfort, space, privacy and service and good food with a smile go to Morena Resort. Our bungalow with kitchen living room 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was a perfect stay. Also the restaurant and breakfast was all good above standard. A nice and comfortable stay on a walk distance from Jan Thiel Beach. I would go back there with pleasure.
