Nice experience. Especially visit Boka Pistol and the boka before it. This one has a small beach (rocky) in front where you can come close to the water and take nice pictures. You can also go to the sides above on the rock. You will probably spend 1 to 1.5 hours in this park. Entrance is per adult, relatively pricey but definitely worth it and much better than the sea side of the Christoffelpark.
For us the highlight was the waves crashing in at Boka Pistol.
To reach the rock bridge you need to go down the stairs to the beach, cross to the other side and climb up those stairs and then go over to the wooden stairs to get to the viewing platform.
The signage along the driving route in the park is inadequate- missing or too faded out to read.
No worries about car break-ins as there are guards in towers at the parking areas.
All told we were somewhat disappointed in the park- we had expected it to be more spectacular. I'm not sure it was worth going to all the areas in the extreme heat.
Worth the drive and entrance fee ($15 per person) for this beautiful park. You can walk it all (LOTS of walking with limited shade so pack water, sunscreen and good shoes - lots of volcanic rocks so I’d recommend closed toed shoes) or drive/park at the highlight spots. Highly recommend!
Great time. It was nice to see the cave but needs to be cleaned out. The view is surreal. Is so relaxing to sit and watch the water.
Phenomenal! This was a sweaty but awesome experience! My favorite was the Boka Pistol and do think it’s a must! It was a lot of walking so wear comfy shoes but I loved it. Also, do not forget your sunscreen I was really burned.
Sheta Boka is a remarkable destination, showcasing one of nature’s most stunning phenomena. The breathtaking scenery, with its dynamic landscapes and captivating views, offers a truly memorable experience for visitors. The site’s unique geological features and the vibrant natural beauty make it a must-visit for nature enthusiasts and adventurers alike.

However, it’s important to note that Sheta Boka is not particularly suitable for younger children. The terrain can be challenging and potentially hazardous, requiring a level of physical capability and caution that might be difficult for younger kids to manage.
Stunning natural park that’s clean, well preserved and just a truly unique experience on the island. Worth the excursion if you have to go with a group but we drove out there with a rental car and found it just fine. Took about 1/2 a day to explore it all. Go after 1 pm if you can, we went in the morning and got absolutely scorched in the heat and ended up with servers sunburned even though we loaded up with 80SPF!! The white sand and rock was just a giant mirror and got us full body lobster mode… cover up head to toe and just trust me on this lol. Wear sturdy hiking shoes or boots if you have them, or at least a Tevas type sandal. Flip flops are not going to cut it. Super sharp volcanic rock and gravel.. girlies were struggling everywhere in their sandals.

You basically arrive in the middle of the park and can either walk or drive a short path to each 1/2 of it, each including two destinations. Worth catching them all but we couldn’t figure out how to find the bridge one. They give you a map when you arrive. It was views from the shore, up high on cliffs, little shaded viewing areas, and a shaded tree covered (but muddy after some rain) hike to get into the water areas. Tons of fossilized coral and sea critters in the sand. Otherworldly! Think it was $15 pp to get in? No bathrooms or water stations, and minimal shade so dress/ prep accordingly. It’s a rustic and nearly untouched park.
Amazing views, the force of the water is incredible. Driving is a bit bumpy but wasn't a problem even for me as rather inexperienced driver with a small car. I'd recommend good shoes.
Fascinating to watch the powerful waves especially at Boka Pistol. The cave was also a highlight - mesmerising to watch and listen the waves inside the cave.
Go early if you want to hike the trails as it gets very hot by noon. You can also drive to each boka, plus a short walk to see the natural bridge.
Awesome waves from the Pistol. The plants and animals are great. Cool hiking opportunity. There are hundreds of goats for some reason. Probably bring cash to pay for the tickets.
