Acoya Hotel Suits Villa

Hotel is nice , it’s feel secure, but’s they clean the rooms every 3 days. That’s not nice that part has to be changed.

Came for my wives birthday on a daypass with my 2 daughters, no extra or anything nor even a greetingscard.
We ordered from the menu you get with 6 types of food to order from. We had to wait an hour for the food. The restaurant was almost empy. But we had to wait anyway. Ours came first and another 20 mimutes for the kids to arrive. The service is very poor, the frontdesk agents are friendly but the female servant was careless and rude. She never even mafe eyr contact.

I go to Curacao for work so I stayed here twice. Considering it was high season and the other hotel rates were astronomically high or not available, I decided to try Acoya. I would say that if you are going on a vacation and need amenities such as a kitchenette with silverware, flatware, etc. and you are on a tight budget, then Acoya could be a good fit. Having said that, the hotel itself is not particularly good. On my first visit, I arrived at 6pm but my room was not ready even though check in is at 4:30pm. I had a 1 bedroom condo which i itself was clean but dated. Any updates were done cheaply and although it was on ground level, the bathroom window had no blinds, curtains, etc. The bathroom window faced a section between buildings of the hotel where maintenance persons frequently passed by and could see in. I ended up making a makeshift curtain using a towel. On my second visit I had a smaller apartment. This time, the room smelled musty but wore off after the ac ran for a day. In the center of the hotel, there is an open area with a pool, bar and restaurant. Every night there is live music which is LOUD until around 10pm and can be heard in the room if you happen to have a room in the middle of the hotel (I did not appreciate this as I was there for work). I would recommend asking for a room on the outskirts of the hotel to avoid this. I did not eat breakfast, but I ordered lunch and dinner at the bara couple days. The food at the restaurant is palatable but not great. I personally would probably would not stay at Acoya again.

The front desk staff were helpful and pleasant but some other departments could use some customer service training. There were also several issues with the room I had. Hot water was a constant issue. The tiolet seat when I arrived was disgusting, but thankfully they replaced it the same day. The hot water kettle was rusted and dirty but they did replace it with a new one. There were several mosquitoes and tiny ants in my room the first day I arrived. I stayed 6 nights and not once did housekeeping change my sheets. The room towels were old and dirty that I used beach towels for most of my stay. I definitely do not think this location is 5 star quality or worth the money I spent. They lack attention to detail on many levels. There were also several days of construction work being done next door to my room and no one gave a heads up or thought to switch my room because of the noise level. I would not stay at this resort if I visited Curacao again.

Really enjoyed our stay at this resort. We had a 2 bedroom villa with a pool and it was lovely. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. Our private pool was beautiful but the best part was that we had a beautiful covered private sitting area outside beside the pool. This resort is only an 8 minute drive to Mambo beach and a 12 minute drive to beautiful historic Willemstad. The staff, especially Kerensa, was really courteous and prompt to help us when we needed help. Highly recommend this resort.

Needed relaxation and definitely got it here! Staff was all wonderful and helpful. Stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment, which was perfect. Really enjoyed everything and will definitely go back.

The villa are very good, it feels like home especially the one with small pool. The place is really good, it was a great architectural design. the service needs to improve, our order was too long to wait but I consider it cuz it is a holiday season. The food was amazingly delicious, from the pasta to chicken and burgers. The breakfast is well prepared accordingly and perfectly. Overall it is a place needs to visit and experience.. You can find peace in this place.. I will surely go back and bring my family here..

The rooms are very small, the shower cabin was without a door, and food in hotel restaurants could be better for the price you pay. After we tried ones we rented a car and enjoyed the local restaurants. Much much better for the same or even chipper price. Specially seafood. We spend most of our time on the beach. It was a great time.
