The mangrove swamp surrounding this wide beach, dotted with palm trees, clouds the water, creating less than ideal conditions for snorkeling. However, it does attract a lot of birds, creating excellent bird-watching possibilities. A few shade structures are set back from the water, and there’s a small bar and restaurant and restrooms.

Departure point: Santa Martha Bay, Soto, Curacao

Route: Santa Martha, Blue Room, Playa Piskadó (turtles), and return with a beach/snorkel stop.

Nice beach and one of the best jetski rental I met there. This beach was better to swim because it was not that busy with all tourist. Mainstream will go to grote knip.

Love this beach. It's towards the west end but it's a great relaxing place to go. There are some picnic tables under some tiki huts. Today, there was a trailer there that opened up and was renting lounge chairs if you wanted them, and selling some snacks and drinks. There is a water sports shop there also. This beach is visited more by the locals which is awesome. There might be a couple of dogs that are wondering around, but they don't bother you. We take our dog with us to this beach. As long as you are a responsible dog owner and your dog is well behaved, there won't be an issue.

Clean, and very safety place. Very easy for parking a car and play with jetski. The beach is very nice, blue water

The Seaglass Mermaid (D)

Quiet beach with free parking. No restaurant, but there was a shop with a variety of water sport activities. There were plenty of shaded areas to get out of the sun. I saw some cute dogs in the parking lot laying in the shade behind peoples cars, and saw some other people petting other ones that seemed very friendly. Not sure if there was a bathroom. I saw some buildings at the end of the parking lot but I couldn’t tell if they were open. Overall nice place to hang out.

My favourite beach so far !! Spacious and relaxed , lots to discover! The waters are not as clear as on a coral beach ( like Karakter beach for example) no Restauration except the fish place with limited drinks menu . Quite an experience with Captain feel good there ! Lots of water sports to be done there

Like most beaches in Curaçao this one is also very beautiful. I did notice more trash around than the other larger beaches. Let’s go motor sports is next to the beach and they offer affordable excursions to nearby blue room.
