Cabana Beach

One of three beaches in a row, similar to most beaches there is a fee for the beach chairs with cover. The water is within a breakwater, so it's calm. There is a little to see when snorkeling near the breakwater.

A nice beach with huts protecting from too much sun and showers. If only the staff was more attentive. I was charged 50 NAF (which I found expensive) without being told this is because I paid for 2 beds under the hut (there were no available single beds).

So first and foremost one needs to understand that the beach clubs here are the epitome of slow "Island time"... its literally hit or miss as far as the speed of service in the beach clubs of Curacao.
With that said the Cabana Beach Club was pretty nice to spend the day at. Our server Daley was great, she had the biggest smile and best attitude that we dealt with during our time at beach club! She literally never told me "no" (just "let me check" or "let me see what I can do")... it was perfect, she made us feel like she wanted us there and made sure to have our food and drinks waiting for us when we came out of the water.

This club has a very convenient way to order food and drinks via an app and the food comes out very quick (we had bbq chicken tacos & ham & gouda panini... both were excellent!), but unfortunately it bypasses our server, so when we finished our food and were still waiting for the drinks almost an hour later I mentioned it to Daley, she returned with our drink order... After that we just ordered with her because it was soo much quicker.

Nice place to chill and very calm water to relax in, would definitely return, preferably when Daley is working👍🏽...ask for her, she will take care of you!

I had breakfast there. A simple but well presented breakfast in a cool and very pleasant environment. I enjoyed the breakfast experience thoroughly.

It’s a nice stretch of beach, quite a big Dutch influence and many Dutch tourists. I thought it was pretty fun to explore, quite busy at times.

There are places for cocktails, lounging, swimming and dancing.

Thought the food menu was very poor and I was seriously wondering if they by accident made me a virgin whiskey sour. There are 'VIP' beds that cost 100 gilder for the day where you get a towel, a bottle of water and 'special' service. The regular beds cost 20 gilder, don't get you a bottle of water but you also get the same service. Thought the normal bed set up was actually pretty good, would probably use those again and skip the food there altogether.
