Purunchi offers the best baked fish on Curacao. This Restaurant is a local treat which you cannot miss when staying on Curacao.
This local restaurant is located in a fisher harbor area, behind the water factory between Otrobanda and Piscadera Bay. It is famous for their local fish dishes which are very tasteful. Do not forget to make an appointment, because usually the restaurant is completely booked for lunch and dinner. Cozy, amazing local fish restaurant at seaside with service by friendly people in a relaxed atmosphere. Selection of fresh Caribbean fish including lion fish served with funchi (polenta), tutú (polenta with beans) or white rice and fried plantain. Fresh salad with delicious avocado aside. To drink, have a fresh awa lamunchi (lemonade) or awa tamarein (tamarind juice) or special home made sangria. Highly recommended.

Departure point: Santa Martha Bay, Soto, Curacao

Route: Santa Martha, Blue Room, Playa Piskadó (turtles), and return with a beach/snorkel stop.

Great little place and very popular, so reservation is recommended. Basically, catch of the day, 4 to 5 different fishes, varies daily, fresh and well cooked with plantain, avocado salad and Rice. Don't be put off on location or decor. It has it own style and you will not be disappointed. Awesome 👌

Incredibly fresh and delicious fish, simply prepared. Staff is friendly and warm. The location is unique with great ambiance and fish watching. You can even see the fish being prepared right off the boat. Feels like we stumbled on the islands best kept secret!!!

We reached when the shop was about to close, but were greeted with open arms and served the best fish fry in the island. Loved it. Also highly recommend to try the tamarind drink. Yummm!

Upon arriving into Curaçao my in-laws took me to have lunch to Kasa di Piskado Purunchi and it was the best way to start my first visit to Curaçao, service was amazing and the food exceptional. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a real homemade seafood meal. Ask for Marisol, she is amazing.

The best lunch we had!! We had the fresh red snapper with funchi!! SO amazing. The fish was so fresh and well cooked. It wasn’t a heavy fry. The polenta with 2 different sauces was amazing!!! The tamarind juice was delicious as well! We ate on the dock in the back and it was wonderful. You’re out of the sun but still get that outside feel! Do not miss!! The GPS makes it a little difficult to find, but it is 1000000% worth it.

Very cool and unique eating experience that seemed ridiculously popular with all the locals. It was stated that you need reservations most of the time because they have limited seating plus limited fish sometimes as everything is freshly caught and literally almost brought in moments before. Our friend knew the owners there and got us a table luckily and even though we had zero clue what we were about to order, we actually enjoyed it very much. We had never had fish in full form before with.... everything included on it.....and surprisingly it wasn't that bad. No we don't do heads or eyeballs but the meat peeled off rather easily and we didn't get any bones. We also some conch which was very interesting and of a different texture than we were used too. Again, you could tell this place was ridiculously popular with the locals as they had to turn away about 20 people just while we were there. Nice outdoor deck dining and the kitchen is literally right in the middle of everything.

This is an amazing hole in the wall. Super fresh fish. There was a guy cleaning fish feet away from our table. This is our new favorite restaurant when we come here.

The service was very friendly and we picked our dish based on recommendations. The food was amazing.
